W. anker fake gooner. Why focus on the negatives of him rather than the positives if you were a real fan. It's the type of thing a rival fan does. Idiot

Ok mate, 4 results out of over 1000 games means nothing!
Llori, i've never ever abused or have said Wenger out.

I support Wolves, we are terrible, but i have rarely seen us humiliated in such a manner

So 2 straight relegations is less humiliating, and paying facking Kevin Doyle 40k a week while in League 1? Mick McCarthy is the best manager you've had in about the last 20 years. Fack me.

He made some very poor decisions and was rightly criticized (some criticism was undeserved of course). There were plenty of awful signings, then the equal pay scale, not to mention naive tactics.

One FA Cup is a great start and beginning to sign good players is also great but there's still a fair way to go.

Wenger has done a hell of a lot for this club but he's also made plenty of mistakes.

cinci,i'm not even bothering with you idiotic comments.

Oh i am fully aware of the problems my club has endured, we have been diabolical, and Mick for all his efforts should have gone much sooner, he isn't a prem manager sadly.

But thats my point, don't sugar coat it, Wenger has failed and will continue to do so, 3rd is your best hope this coming season and you will collapse as ever in around February/March time.

We've had money for years, all these recent signings show that the board would of backed Wenger in the market if he was willing which for some reason he wasn't up until recently.

I don't know why you're interested in Arsenal mate, focus on getting out of the championship with Kenny Jackett potato first.

True, but the man is only human.
Think of how far he has taken us, all while doing it with his hands tied with strict financial restraints.

Should i just start deleting the moron cinci's comments?

posted on 12/7/14

Delete away if you don't like hearing an outsiders perspective.

You may not like it, but thats what most people outside of Arsenal see.

If I had a penny for everytime I've heard this stuff.... Wenger has done nothing special with so-called financial restraints. We have a huge wage bill which people choose to ignore and we've always ranked among the top 4 or 5 biggest budgets in England. So all those years of being trophyless and scraping top 4 in dogfights with Spurs was pretty much par for expectation.

Wenger's greatest ever achievement is convincing so many people that he is some kind of genius, well that or the unbeatable season although using the term 'unbeatable' is a little false considering our cup performances that season.

Please tell me who else has done something similar to what Wenger has done, without going into administration?

Agree with cinciwolf. Wenger still hasn't actually achieved anything significant. For every one good signing he makes four poor signings. His tactics are naive and if he was at a bigger club he would be sacked a long time ago.

See why a lot of posters here give you stick sheriff. Yes we have a huge bill but we fund it as a going concern. That cannot be said of Chelsea and Mancity since Roman and the Arabs started throwing lucre around.
It is more than conceivable that Wenger would have added much more silverware had the playing field been level all these years.

What has Wenger done? I want the achievement defined before I can answer that question. Scraping top 4 for 8 years on a top 4 budget? Is that the amazing achievement?
