OK, so, do you think any of the issues raised in your answers to 2-4 have been caused by Rodgers?

As much as any manager has on their team, yes. I'm not really sure what you want me to say. You seem surprised that I'm a fan of a manager that took us from 7th to second out of nowhere.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, you just seem so at pains to not give the impression that Rodgers is responsible for any of your predicament this season. I just find that unusual given that the fundamental flaws I keep referring to suggest that he is very much at fault. I admire your loyalty or whatever your motivation is though.

100m spent and by Rodgers logic a title push should be expected, he thought so of Spurs?
So if he just came up short last season and spent this we should see a title tilt?
----------------------------------------
Well that's what I thought, but Greatteams suggests a regression back to just a top four place after £100m...
===
This is warped logic in my opinion tailored to suit a certain angle. If this was so football history would be very different. For instance, Everton were 5th last season and spent around 35m so 4th place should be in the bag I presume? Chelsea were third when Mourinho joined. He spent over £100m but finished 3rd again getting usurped by BR in the end who had spent far less and seen a couple of targets move to Chelsea instead. Haven't seen anyone really having a pop at that either or asking how good or carp Mo really is. I could go on.
Point is that thats not the way football goes, is it? Furthermore, Great already said we punched above our weight last season. Most rivals had us down for 7th perhaps worse. We finished 2nd due to BR and the team. The £100m spent should cement our position in the top 4 IMO and if that doesn't happen I will be disappointed.
I also see Great being accused of not 'being honest' and not having a pop at BR or seeing the negatives but those pointing the fingers have never seen anything positive about BR either. He took us from nowhere to 2nd playing some lovely stuff and back in the CL after so long in the wilderness. Surely there must be positives whereas those making the accusation at Great have NEVER seen anything positive? Glad we are now talking football but still the conversation is geared at Liverpool and sadly its just a case of more hypocrisy. Where we dont see the wrongs you do not see the right. Its the way it is with us fans. Let no one attempt to imply that they should be on a high horse and that its only the other fans who are biased.
Just to add. I dont know why people keep going on about what managers say when we all know they are just on the job. Last season after being frustrated by West Ham and Fat Sam, Mourinho had a pop at their tactics but played carp boring defensive football. This season must feel like a breath of fresh air in that respect. Every single manager does this. At the time Spurs were our competition in the league. Managers do it all the time. With Fergie gone Jose must be the best at unnerving the opposition.
So sensitive
Its quite simple
F uck off from the Chelsea Board Dopey if you cant handle criticism
Yet you cant. You are on it everyday
Brendan gonna get found out this season
"Let no one attempt to imply that they should be on a high horse and that its only the other fans who are biased"
Do you have any idea how ridiculous this sounds, coming from a Liverpool supporter in particular? High horse is your stock position, that's why you are an unpopular set of supporters.
So far as my conversation with Greatteams, at no point did he concur that Rodgers has got your transfers and tactics wrong when it's plain to see for anyone with a modicum of football knowledge that he is very much responsible for your drastic change of footballing philosophy and form. That's what I find strange. Its almost cult like in terms of your utter denial of Rodgers weaknesses. Its just not like that on our board, which is where you are right now incidentally, and I am trying to prise some sort of honest assessment of Rodgers so far this season but Great seems unwilling or incapable of doing so
If you don't like being asked valid questions about your club, and come over with that stock oversensitive siege type response, then you know what you can do, something many of other teams supporters can't do, and that's go back to the Liverpool board and discuss how rosy your garden is with your fellow Liverpool supporters. Leave us to our discussions unless of course you decide to actually grow a pair and be honest about your team and manager.

You must have missed the part where I said 4-3-3 isn't working. You're very choosy with what you see whitewall. Maybe that's why you're struggling.

What is pointless is having a discussion that you only deem worthwhile if people agree with you. I answered every question you posed, you didn't like the answers so it's all pointless. Bizarre.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I knew you would turn this into a t|t for tat format. That much was obvious from the moment it got sensible.
As I said, pointless continuing. Well at least I tried

getting the best out of players to form an attacking juggernaut capable of over 100 goals a season. Some just kids and others who were written off.

Brilliant in that he took a mid table club to second. Unless we're not a mid table club ? Which is it?

Stop being so narky Greatteams I agree, he rode that wave you were on very well last season, but all my questions have been about this season, when the challenges you face are far greater in terms of the loss of Suarez, lots of new players, weight of expectation from spending so much in the summer and trying to shoehorn new players into a proven style of thrusting attacking play which at the moment suggests doesn't suit their strengths, in particular Ballo.
