I expect Porter to beat Brook fairly easily.

Brook's only ever been under pressure against Carson Jones and he did not cope well. For me the ref did him a favour in the 2nd bout coz I thought it was going the same way as the 1st.

Porter is far more ferocious than Jones.

Brook will likely get stopped, especially as porter seems likely to be on peds.

I want Brook to win..
a) because I dont wana see another british fighter get embarassed over there
b) i think a domestic dust up between him and khan would be good
c) i dont trust porter who's working with victor conte, a known ped specialist.

Porter will brutalise Brook

I hope Kell beats him, its always good to see a British fighter win a World Title.

That in turn brings World Title Fights to Sheffield, and other English venues.

Porter knocked Paulie out in his last fight, his last TKO before that was 2 years ago and had to rematch a former Lightweight in Julio Diaz before he got the win over him.

Brook has a much better chance than ppl on here are giving him credit for, and Porter is getting way too much credit after a close with against Alexander & a decent win over a 3yrs past his best Malignaggi

Porter isn't a huge puncher his win over Pauli doesn't impress me, but he decisively beat Alexander who's an elite fighter. Julio Diaz is a tough guy, Porter won both fights imo, but the second one was very clear.

Porter was an outstanding amateur as well, he had a record of something like 270-15. He beat guys like Danny Jacobs who's fighting at 160 now and Edwin Rodriguez and Shawn Estrada who are fighting at 168. He beat Andrade as well who's one of the best fighters at 154, very talented.

Porter is levels above Brook.

let's hear it then chaav, what makes Porter an overrated chump? have you seen him fight?

Biggest bite ever think i need a bigger rod, will be back to laugh at you and your obviously useless one year boxing knowledge again on the 17th

posted on 8/8/14

lmfao it's pretty clear you don't know what you're talking about. stick to F1 and darts man.

Porter an overrated chump, but Brook a champion waiting to happen. This is what happens when a horse racing fan pretends to watch boxing

50/50 fight for me

Porter is limited in my opinion, I think Brook can out box him for the win, Brook will take a few shots no doubt and if he can take the early one's he has a very good chance.

This is obviously Brooks toughest opponent and it will be a massive win for him if he can pull it off, but at the same time i honestly believe this is Porters toughest opponent as well, although he utilised a pretty decent gameplan on Alexander to win the belt im hoping Kell can get in and out better than Devon did, i think he underestimated Porter...something hopefully Kell hasnt done!

How is this Porter's toughest opponent when he has already beaten former beltholders like Malignaggi and Alexander? Brook doesn't even seem to take his career as seriously as he should. In America too. All signs point to Brook loosing. It will be massive upset if he wins. He is British though and it would be great for uk boxing if he wins, so I will be rooting for him.

Brook beats Malignaggi & Alexander imo, thats why i believe he's Porters toughest opponent. Neither of them have Kell's power.

Agreed it should be a great fight

Porter has beaten Alexander and Pauli, not Brook...

Kell's KO ratio isn't that impressive despite fighting nothing but bus drivers, he isn't some huge puncher, he's got decent power at best.

And who Porter isn't limited, he can box very well, better than Kell. The guy was a standout amateur, you put together a record of something like 270-15 without being a good boxer.

People actually think Kelly Crook will beat Porter. He is coming in for a well deserved beating and hopefully after Porter finishes him we wont hear of him again.
