Dave Parish called the fight as close as it was. Crap fight to watch, hard to score.
If the fight took place is Nevada, Porter would've won by a few rounds
Kell
Some guy at the casino last night had 30,000 on Porter

Gotta hand it to Kel. He's earnt a lot of people's respect. I actually had him losing on points. Shows what i Know. Gna have to rewatch it as a number of posters on the checkhookboxing forum had Kel winning during the fight.

Yeah VIk but the 2 scorecards from the Americans show that they had Kel winning by a clear margin... That must mean most of us were influenced by Sky's commentary.. I know I was. I personally though Brook wasnt busy enough..
But then after the final round, Porter's team looked dejected and were just stood there motionless. They obviously thought they had lost too.

Watch the fight again, Kell through less punches, landed more punches and landed better punches.
Most of the rounds Porter was winning on work-rate he was actually losing on quality.
I actually think Khan at his best when it comes to the attacking side of boxing is right at the highest level (from a point scoring perspective).
I reckon though that Brook is good enough to not be totally outclassed and punches hard enough to get the stoppage maybe from behind on the scorecards.

Just re-read the first few pages of this thread. Some folk looking rather foolish now that their boxing "knowledge" has been shown up to be nothing but hot air
Credit to Kell, he proved me wrong. He showed yesterday he is one hell of a boxer.

not gracious in victory I see.
I got this one wrong, but I've still got a far, far better track record than you Juke, so calm down yh
As for you Crouch you're not gonna actually pretend you watched the fight, are you? you probably woke up this morning, checked the results and left a comment on here before you head off you catch up on some horse racing and F1 <laugh.
This isn't about winning.. Just pointing out how daft some folk are on here when they claim to know for definite that someone is getting a doing. It wasn't just yourself that was so adamant Brook would lose.
Far better track record? You're aware I was taking the mick with the predictor comp. I've been pretty consistent in calling fights right when I've talked about them pre-fight.
Only ones I've got really wrong are the Burns fights but that's coz I was totally biased I made no secret of that either.

We discussed this before. You weren't taking the mick, you were fights wrong week in, week out. Please don't pretend you were doing it on purpose.

Not daft at all, just got it completely wrong and there's no shame in that. Even all time greats like me can get predictions wrong from time to time.
All time greats
Aye alright then.
As for the prediction comp, of course I thought every single fight was gonna end in a KO
yeah, dunno why you thought that Juke. weird one.
I Dnt get how some people will let their bias cloud their judgement on such close fights, their was no evidence porter was some sort of dominating superstar and brook fought terrific fight, we talk about bits being hyped up but porter was being talked up as one on the most avoided in the division, and in one night kell brook turns from a operated ducked to a wc star, some people
