Mind you possibly Rosberg had some guilt judging by his post race interview? Didn't come across as someone who had been involved in a genuine racing incident.

It is the face of the tyre martial, it is not small. The entire face of the tyre and the chances are 90%.
It does not happen a lot because most people do not look to do it de;iberately
----------------------------------------------------------------------
dont agree manx -- from what brundle said it is only a small area on the side of the tyre -
---------- if the chances of a puncture were that high it would be happening just about every time there was ever contact between a wing and a tyre -
----------- as it happens only very very rarely
Then you were not paying attention to what he said or may have learning difficulties.
The face of the tyre when the front wing cuts across it is likely to puncture 90% of the time. If you hit it from behind, it is significantly less. Which is why it does not happen every time the wing contacts the tyre. Has to be done at the angle Nico did today.
It has happened multiple times this season so I am surprised you say it is rare. Magnussen did it to Kimi for instance.
So this throws up a variety of questions;
1) Do you understand information presented to you
2) Do you have eye problems or memory problems
3) Are you sure you understand this sport and its 'nuances'
I see however that you have moved the goal posts again in this argument, from gaining an advantage to another illogical argument.
Question I ask myself is this, why do I even bother?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
the question you need to ask yourself if puncturing a tyre is so easily done why does it not happen every time there is contact between a wing and a tyre -
the obvious answer is that the wing does not often clip the exact contact area that is needed to cause a puncture hence the chances of getting a puncture because of wing contact is small unless the wing clips the exact small amount of contact area -
---- so to even suggest that a driver would be able to purposely hit precisely , exactly , and accurately that small contact area at racing speed with the precise and exact part of the wing endplate he cannot even see that would be needed to slice the small and precise area of the tyre without damaging his own car very badly is pure infantile unadulterated infatuated fanboy garbage
Disgusting from Nico, should have points deducted and banned from the next race.
Martial the face of the tyres is not a small contact area and truth be told you are trying to dispute facts with your opinion.
That is insanity, facts are facts and your opinion is worthless

manx at racing speed purposely hitting the exact and precise very small area of the tyre sidewall with a wing endplate that a driver cannot even see without ripping use lumps of his own wing off and in so doing ruining his own race must be just about impossible for any driver to even contemplate let alone even formulate into a plan of action -

The collision with Lewis Hamilton is Nico Rosberg's fault 100%.
If he had any sense he would have waited until DRS was enabled and then made a clean pass for a possible 1 – 2.
He went daft in the vain hope that Lewis Hamilton would somehow see where he was and politely move to the right off the racing line for that corner.
I get the impression that Nico Rosberg views this season as his once in a lifetime chance to achieve something and is determined to do anything to achieve it.
As for deliberately colliding – a driver would have to be extremely daft to try that at this stage of the season. You can never be sure weather you might actually come off worse. The only purpose of a deliberate collision is to ensure that you take both cars out in order to guarantee the WDC. So maybe that will happen at the last race.
The Mercedes team dithered over the decision to retire Hamilton's car. It was obvious from the lap times and gap to 10th place that it was pointless to continue racing with a broken floor and loss of downforce. Drivers can only use 5 power units before incurring a penalty. Hamilton was using a brand new 4th unit. Unit 3 was destroyed and can not be used again and he is not allowed to use his Hungary unit until the last race of the season. So he now has only has a total of 3 units to last the entire season as opposed to Rosberg who still has all 5.
F/lucks me martial, wassssaaaaaa are you so infantile and cowardly to debate with me. All you resort to is hurling infantile abuse at other posters. Wassssaaaaaa matter little old truth and facts proving ur absurd opinions wrong......again.....again and again.
Tbh martial, ur gonna be left here on ur own to mass debate with urself, because people dont want to be here
Wtcbu - i think there is too much emphasis on him doing it on purpose. I dont think any driver would deliberately crash as u say, however they would deliberately put themselves at higher risk than which is mecessary imo. Tbh nicos doing all he can to win the title, and he may win it with dishonour, but the records book wont remember that i dont think. Same as seb beong a 4 time champion whilst having no rival.
The engine point cud be significant, how much luck is nico having and bad luck lewis is having. Its beggars belief

Hamilton hit the rear tyres of 2 cars in Austria recently and at no time did anyone on the sky hamilton channel (aka as the sky formula 1 channel) say he was at fault.
On those occasions they put it down to him being a pure racer putting his car in areas where it could get hit as that is the nature of the beast.Rosberg does the same and suddenly he's the devil incarnate.
The Mercedes is such a superior car that any of the other 20 drivers on the grid would have the points accumulated by either of the Merc drivers. The problem that mercedes have is that Hamilton is so arrogant that he expects everything to favour him and when it doesn't he goes into a major strop like a two year old girl.
Be great to see Hamilton finish 3rd in a 2 horse race
Did he do it in lap 2 when he cudnt possibly overtake
Did he do it on purpose with intention of ruining his teammates championship and teams overall points
Why wud it please u to see hamilton come third because of a perceived media bias, whats that got to donwith the bloke himself
Ur missing the point - the point is rosberg did this knowingly. If he didnt do it on purpose, thats fine, a little clumsy and put perfectly by brundle. However l, he admitted to doing it on purpose. So thag changes everything
