I think when it comes to the big money signings he's pretty good, to be fair. But he signed a hell of a lot of crap when at Liverpool who were below the higher end of the market.
Obvioulsy it's a harder market to crack but I don't know why any manager worth their salt would buy Jan Kromkamp, for example.
Not too sure about the cheaper signings at Napoli.

He must have done well to get Carpi where they are but working at Napoli is a completely different thing.
Hopefully he does well. It's good that I can't like Napoli again now Benny Dreadful as gone.

Could have been worse, I was in Catalonia.
I enjoyed the game and Barça winning it.
Perfect send-off for Xavi too.
Hardly been able to get online this week. Too busy at work and dedicating all of my free time to plan hols. We're off to Sri Lanka for a fortnight in August.

casillas looks like he's gonna be shown the door
he's been a great servant to madrid, but his time as a top top keeper came to an end a few years now i'm afraid
time for a new number 1 at madrid
feel sorry for Elche, hope they can stay up somehow..they were well clear of the drop too
I was holidaying only a few Kms away from Elche...some of the locals there were not to happy about their enforced relegation
Feel sorry for Elche too, one of the more likeable minnows imo, but I s'pose it's inevitable if Spanish footy is serious about putting the house in order
