You seem to have a different definition of what a first teamer is than most people. When Allen has been fully fit, he is at least on the bench, same goes for Sakho. That makes them first teamers.
Apparently they aren't, because Arsenal fans need the Most Injuries Cup to add to their 4th Place Trophy.
Arsenal would apparently play the same 11 players every game.
It has nothing to do with Arsenal really. You still wouldn't have more injuries even if you included them, but they aren't first teamers. The likes of Flamini, Ox, Rosicky, Podolski, Monreal etc play a lot, but I wouldn't call them first teamers. I certainly wouldn't be crying about their injuries if other players are fit. You made it about Arsenal to portray yourself as similar victims somehow.
I think you will find one of your shower were the first to mention Arsenal on this thread.
Gerrard and Henderson are your only regular midfielders. Then there's a wide pool of players that MAY start, of which Allen is one.
-----------
Last season, especially when our form picked up in the second half of the season, Allen started when he is fit. Unfortunately had had injuries.
When Allen was fit and available, it was Lucas who missed out.
Allen has pretty much always started when fit.
The few times he hasn't is when just back from injury.
Of course Gooners coming on the Liverpool board on a thread were Arsenal weren't mentioned by anyone other than Gooners don't want to hear that.
It doesn't fit their we have a million injuries and nobody else ever has any agenda.

No, he didn't.In your best run of form, you were playing a diamond withGerrard, Henderson, Coutinho and Sterling at the tip. How was Allen starting?

No, he hasn't. I haven't once mentioned Arsenal, so I don't know why you keep rambling on about "Gooners".

Allen started 8 of our last 11 games, playing 90 mins in 6 of them.
Try again.

And that wouldn't have anything to do with the 3-match suspension of Henderson and injury to Coutinho? Whatever, man.
I haven't even said he doesn't start games. Merely that he's one of a couple of rotational players, rather than an outright starter.
He is a first team player.
By your definition of it only about 5 players at the top clubs are considered first team, because the rest are always rotated.
A first team player is someone who plays in the first team. The clue's in the wording. Not quite sure why it's such a struggle for you to understand it????

Sheriff appears annoyed that we maybe stepping on Arsenal's often played injury card excuse. Why else would he be arguing over whether Joe Allen is a first team player or not.
It's all your's Sheriff.
Injuries are part and parcel of football.
Arsenal have less players out injured than WestHam, Everton and Liverpool
Arsenal just scrape 4th in a league again

You said Allen pretty much always starts when he is fit which is patently false. And no, by my definition, there would be about 9 or so regular starters, rather than 5.

No, we do not. And what's with your recent weird Arsenal obsession - including Chambers recently. Seems it must be lonely to be the only poster on the Everton board and you need the attention. No worries though. We all love little, old Everton, like we do Fulham.

Often played? You mean like your constant crying because you were missing just Sturridge from your starting 11? Who said injuries aren't a part and parcel of football?
If Allen is fit (and by that he's match fit) he generally starts. This is a fact and I know this because I watch every single game. Brendan loves him.
Chambers is overpriced and over hyped!
He got booked against San Marino......part time players. He was just as bad tonight. What does he have over Clyne I hear you ask? I think everyone is asking the same question
I like Chambers but it's too much too soon and he's not played well the last two games at RB.
Don't know why Clyne didn't start.
Chambers will be a good player but he won't be a right back as he offers nothing going forwards.
Clyne has been great going forward for Saints, which is what you need against the likes of Estonia and San Marino.

It is not a fact. I don't watch every single game, but I've seen enough to know it's not a fact. Your only midfielders that "generally start" are Gerrard and Hederson.
The stats will show that Allen starts more games when he is proper fit, than he doesn't start.
Unfortunately he has spent a lot of time injured, so has had a lot of time regaining fitness too.
