6 matches, or 9 hours of football spread over 2 weekend days is hardly that outrageous.

----

I doubt there are many people who don't have a career in the game who watch 6 full PL games in one weekend.

With two kids I can barely watch 1, but even before wife and kids I wouldn't watch more than say 3 full games over a weekend with a few highlights thrown in, and most people i know consider me to be football mad.

"So just so I'm clear you watch re- runs of Liverpool games? Really?"

Yes. It happens I enjoyed watching Suarez and the football last season. Do you have a problem with that? I could ask why you watch reserve games.

I don't have a problem with it but I don't really believe you unfortunately.

"About once last season!"

So, how do you arrive at your expertise on all these great talents in the reserves?

Why is that unfortunate? You're entitled.

That's why I'm not "many people". Digging 9 hours out of 48 hours to watch footy after a hectic week is more than doable for me.

Do you watch any live football?

You get a lot more from watching a live game in both atmosphere and judging players. TV doesn't show things like running off the ball, distance covered, leadership etc very well.

Left England since I graduated from Uni. Watching live football in the stadium doesn't rank too highly in my priorities at the moment. I'm more than happy watching it from a comfy couch.

So while you are outside of England you have not got out and supported a local side, mixed with folks outside

posted on 13/10/14

Mixed with folks outside? You do realize I actually work with people everyday, you mug. And there are other social activities beyond watching a football game. And there is no local team where I live. All that is actually irrelevant to previous discussions here.

No local side that plays football that you can go and watch? Think someone is telling lies

posted on 14/10/14

Think I have watched 6 games over a weekend plenty of times... its not that crazy a claim is it?

If the fixtures are spaced out right you can watched 3 on a Saturday and 3 on a Sunday. Don't often download a game to watch it that doesn't include United...

This guy claims to watch 6-10 games each weekend, do you do that each weekend?

posted on 14/10/14

Probably not but the idea that someone would go that little bit extra than me isn't too crazy.... its probably a little excessive in fairness.

posted on 14/10/14

That's a total of 9-15 hrs of football, not including pre/HT and post game analysis.

That's a lot of time watching TV!

6 games out of 10. Read properly.

Not every country is like England. Perhaps, if you escaped that little bubble of yours occasionally, you'd learn something. I don't get why you're so interested in my activities - other than the failed attempt at being a pedant. And then trying to read the life of an internet stranger with some psychobabble ballacks.

You don't sound "travelled" if you don't believe it's possible to live in an area with no professional football club in the locale. So you're sounding like the liar. Again, not every country in the world is like England. Let that percolate slowly.

That'll give time to watch the re-runs of LFC, Everton and Southampton I guess.
