The thing is Everton is a great club with strong Scottish connections so it's not like I'm having a pop at them here.
There's no shame in not being as big as Rangers or whoever else. It's just the way it is.
Which is the silly statement?
That he was saved from Scottish football?
ive changed my mind i think Everton are bigger as surely they must be as they are 'the peoples club'
ps I bet Dr Phil wont be long then you will see something a bit special!

Back tracking now.
Come on now, let's get this settled once and for all. Do you think Everton are a bigger club than Rangers? And if so, what do you base that on?

Unless you think a life of 3rd division scottish football was his dream
Dearie me.
Are you going to answer the question or not?
Sometimes too much foreplay isn't a good thing.
Dont try to change the topic of the OP, Naismith was saved from Scottish football....his sparkling form at club and International level shows this.
You should be thanking Everton for taing a player from a minor league and improving him.
I'll take it that you're non-answer is an acceptance that Rangers are a bigger club.
Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.
Got bored of watching Besic try and squirm out of answering a straight forward question so Im off...
enjoy lads....

It is clear to see that Everton are the bigger/better club. We take players into a real competitive league and they improve
If you make a poor argument when no one is listening can you still claim a win and feel better about your sad life??
That is a rhetorical question as im not really here.

What absolutely dreadful logic.
So what you're saying then that ANY club who plays in the EPL are bigger than Rangers? So if somehow Halifax Town surged through the leagues and got to the top flight they'd be a bigger club than Rangers?
You play in a fantastic, money-laden league. It's only a massive league because of the top clubs - Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and recently City.
The rest of you are simply makeweights.
Really , makeweights?
You are the reason why I was pro independance

Not at all, I said Everton take players into a competitive league and improve them. Why you bring Halifax into the discussion is a mystery.
Has the existing Glasgow Rangers won a major trophy yet?
I know the one that went into administration did,but didn't they form a New Glasgow Rangers that so far hasn't played a game in top flight football(I use the term top flight loosely as we are talking about Scottish football)
arh the 'loophole' argument....

Because of my view on your football club?
How petty and pathetic is that?
I personally made my decision based on what I felt was best for my country, politically and economically. Let's hope if you ever get the opportunity to have devolution for England or indeed for the North West (which you badly need) then you make your decision based on something more substantial than what people think of your football team.
As for why I bring Halifax into the discussion is brutally clear. If you're definition of "bigger" is simply because you can bring players into a league and improve them then your argument is that anyone who plays in the EPL and has a decent coach is therefore a bigger club than Rangers. And that's just laughable really.

Scottish Premier league televised games must give hope to all non league players in England to have the skills to play for a big club like Celtic or Rangers before they get too old and retire

Does it make you feel better to have a pop at our league just because of the inconveniant truth that a couple of Scottish clubs are bigger than your club despite that?
