They have had a tough run of fixtures in comparison to the easy start we have had.....lets not forget the injuries
When we get a tough run of games/players out then we can moan about our position

It will be utterly hilarious when the big teams in Europe break away and form a European super league. And what will be more hilarious is when Celtic get invited, and potentially Rangers too,
--
It'll be even more hilarious when Rangers get relegated at the end of the first season.
Everton bigger than Rangers - no argument, and I'm a Man City supporter.
Anything can be 'big' in a small country like Scotland.

Another person who makes the statement without giving any reasoning or rationale behind it.
Anyway, this was yesterday's discussion. I don't really care anymore.
Right, time to put this WUM and his pal Ginger to the bin.
We are the 5th most successful club in England, now that's competing with the likes of Utd, Arsenal, Spurs, L'pool and other clubs who were successful in their period like Villa.
Now then, let's look at Rangers and their trophies, had they been playing in the English league - how many FA Cups and League Trophies would they have won compared to our 9 and 5? I guess about 1 or two each!!
Had we of been playing in the Scottish Top Tier with Rangers & Celtic, they would have nowhere near the trophy count they do now.
At the end of the day Rangers & Celtic are just big fish in a little pond and would be lucky to survive in League 1.
Therefore, yes, Everton are bigger than Rangers.
Now, let's put this article to bed.
* should be 9 league titles and 5 FA cups, not vice versa
What a load of subjective codswallop.
If Everton had been playing in Scotland they wouldn't have the access to the millions upon millions of pounds you currently have access to. You'd have to cut your cloth accordingly.
Only Everton fans have used trophy hauls to rationale the size of the club.
I'd rather pay more attention to fanbase and the Rangers and Celtic supporter base absolutely dwarfs Evertons.
I also like how when I present clear and thought out opinions it's described as a wum, yet you guys come out with frankly outlandish statements that are considered ok.

Who says I have to?
You choose your criteria to make your argument stick, ignoring that Rangers went bust, aren't in the top flight any more, and have only had success in an inferior league in a small country.
History? If you'd played in England you wouldn't even have the history of Preston.
Fan base? I suppose you share about half the Scottish support with Celtic. So what?
Everton > Rangers.
Preston > Rangers.

Glad to see you "don't really care anymore" Ivan.
Any club in the EPL > Rangers.
I just find your insular, "EPL IS THE BESTEST THING EVER AND EVERYTHING ELSE IS RUBBISH" attitude baffling.
If you want to delude yourselves then fair enough. Best of luck with that.
Lets just be clear Ivan.
I asked how you measure how big a club is and asked if you would use trophies
You were the first person to use it to define "a big club"

I've already backed it up.
History and fan base. We'll throw in success too, both domestically and in the European context.
Your turn now.
Not saying EPL is the best, just that Rangers are smaller than Everton and the rest of the teams in the EPL - and not forgetting Preston as well.
Still "don't care"?

Our last league win was pre Premier League millions and our last cup win was in 1995, so this sort of blows your money backed succeess view right out of the water
no good biting to this buffoon, even when it's spelled out to him, he comes out with more claptrap - a brick wall has more chance of realising the obivous
