Was not Lewis cruising and maintaining the gap, accelerating at will. There was also the issue of traffic, when Rosberg wins Toto always proclaims Lewis could have done nothing! Lewis is not the Greatest of all time for nothing. He does not seek vain Glory like your boy racers, Vettel chasing fastest laps. Lewis is smart and knows that no one in F1 alive or dead dare hold a candle against him, dismantling Rosberg for him today will be piece of cake.

This is the United States of America, people here want to see a show and no show can be provided while he is romping away in the lead, with Britney trundling along since now there is no COACHING allowed. Lewis knows his talents and no one can match him!

Vettel has been absolutely decimated by Ricciardo this season. He's wise to move to Ferrari and I expect him to beat Raikkonen but had he stayed it would have only continued to damage his reputation.

It has taken him almost a year to get to grips with a car he gave more input to and tested more than Ricciardo. He is a paper champion and is a fraud.

It's wins that makes a champion, not pole positions. Although if Rosberg wants to take consolation through his pole position he is very welcome to do so. 10 wins to 4 in a team with no team orders says all we need to know about who is the better driver

First and foremost Lewis would influence Ferrari's performance. He obliterated Alonso in his rookie year, what more now with the increased experience.

Anybody can defeat Kimmi Raikkonen, he was mauled by the Lotuses. Raikkonen has been exposed as a fraud, his minimalist use of words is nothing but a sign of lacking confidence. Spa 2008 comes to mind where Lewis made mince meat of him!

...meanwhile at Mclaren Button's days are finished. After Jonathan Neale and co were told their positions are under threat they desisted from hiding behind Button 's fluke performances and stopped giving him preferential treatment.

At any time before yesterday Button would have been afforded the opportunity to pit before his teammate with Sky going beserk how much of a maestro he is, but Ron Dennis overruled that and Miss Daisy was fed to the Lions and they mauled him!

The sooner Mclaren gets rid of Button, which is what was confirmed yesterday, the sooner they will improve in performance.

I genuinely hope that you are right. Kimi's form does worry me, but I'm sure it part it is that I get the opinion that Kimi likes a car to behave in a particular way, and if it doesn't then he doesn't seem to be able to drive around problems like maybe Alonso/Hamilton.

If the Ferrari suits Kimi's style next season (fingers crossed) then I hope we'll see a return to form

What Button seems to excel at is changing track conditions - which would suggest that he is pretty gifted

For me, Kimi at his best would more than hold his own against Alonso & Hamilton.

But when Kimi is not at his best he can disappear all too quickly.

i mean how can anybody rate hamilton as a good driver,

when he hasnt beaten all his team mates, he can only drive in the dumbed down fuel stop era, he hasnt won a world championship, he hasnt got the most wins of a british driver. and worst of all, he has a plastic pop tart girlfriend.........ohhh n ear rings......ohhh and hes black and erm......

I would say he is gifted at making lucky guesses, more often than not he takes these gambles because he is in a position where he has absolutely nothing to loose. When they work he is hailed as a genius, when they flop it is a strategic blunder from Mclaren.

The last two years he has run out of this luck and pretty much non existent in changeable conditions!
