We have won 3 out of the last 4 pl games. 2 at which were at home against tripe. How is that quietly building confidence? All wins bar the Newcastle game have been nervous wrecks.

we still blaming injuries?

Firstly, if we don't want injuries, maybe our manager should stop signing weak, soft injury prone players who have no bottle, gut or heart.

Secondly, it's the defensive injuries that have cost us...and they wouldn't have cost us if Wenger had actually ummmm you know, signed some defenders? That's what you have a squad for, the cover for injuries, rotate etc.

Godfather, you are stuck in a vicious cycle, the cycle I was stuck in for a very long time. Sooner or later you will find a way out and look back to see how ret.arded you once were.

We go into the season with two senior CBs (one who is carrying a chronic long term problem) and blame injuries for dropped points. Read that out to yourself a few times and tell me your thoughts.

obviously injuries cost us something, we've had the most injuries in the league for the whole season.

Why would you call yourself re.tarded for? If anything you were clear headed and reasoned before but now have been sucked into the wenger out frenzy that the last tasteful of us have been pushing for years.

I am able to look at everything objectively deducing logical reasons for why things go wrong (some of which do actually include blaming wenger, look through my comment history) but you are the one who is now stuck in a perpetual cylcle of blaming Wenger for everything and giving credit for nothing. There is no proper analysis from you and your buddies now its just "how can we twist everything so Wenger comes out as culpable"

most have been defensive injuries, we've coped with the midfield/attack injuries because we're covered

playing Chambers and Monreal at CB has cost us, very predictable

what do you suggest we do, buy 4 first team cb's? Monreal who is our 4th choice cb has probably not done much differently than how we would expect a 4th choice defender we bought to do. Look how poor Citys 30 million 3rd choice cb has done? The problem is injuries to our first choice defenders more than the fact we didnt buy a back up cb to bolster numbers

I've never seen you hold Arsene accountable for anything Godfather, when you do it's something like 'yeah I think Wenger could've done better' followed by 90 paragraphs of defence.

I absolutely give credit for Arsene when it's due, I'm not one of these weird 'WOB' ret.ards, I love Arsene and always will, but it's time for him to move on, he will never learn and adapt.

away to swansea is always a banana skin for us but the most fustrating thing about today is we could have picked up a fantastic result. chambers was getting roasted and should have been off for bellerin ages ago. theo should have come on earlier too when we were in command and it would have terrified them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you Godfather, for once you speak sense.

So who's fault was it that chambers didn't come off earlier, or get help earlier, and who's fault was it that theo didn't come on much earlier than he should. Even after the 25th minute, the commentator was saying chambers needs help.

Why does our manager not see that even we as fans and the commentator noted this after just 25 mins into the game?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i cant for the love of god realise why chambers wasnt helped or subbed. reminds me of Djorou at rb a few seasons ago when he got sent off and we all knew it was coming. You know i support Wenger staying at the club but today was inexcusable, utterly shocking in fact

This is what I mean. You think it's alright that we went into the season with 2 senior CBs. That's the problem.

What I suggest we do is have at the very least 3 senior CBs with 1 younger one who can actually defend (so not Chambers). Monreal is a good player but he's a joke at CB and the fact that you think he's been good again shows what the problem is.

Why are you giving an example of a bad piece of transfer business and using it as some sort of reason as to why we didn't more defenders? You truly are pathetic man. There have been plenty of good defensive transfers and plenty more were available.

?? You have a short memory my man, Chambers granted hasnt had a great month, but he has looked great at times before that. The irony is, overall he has probably performed best out of all cbs that were signed in summer (Lovern, Mangala, etc)

Why dont you be realistic for once, Kos and Mert are our first choice cb pairing so anyone we signed knows they are going to be back up. That limits the options drastically. i would love the likes of ashley williams but he is not leaving swansea to sit on bench for us. I i am saying that even if we signed that cb we all wanted it would have made little difference to our season due to the injuries to our first team

Another point: United spent the most any club has ever spent in world football but still didnt address cb which is their biggest weakness. Sometimes the players wanted arent actually avaliable

Of course you wont listen to any of these reasoned, objective arguments, i am just being an apoligist for Wenger again

If this was true ( which its not ) at least its more creative than mindlessly pressing the "wenger out" hotkey after every single thing that happens

Our current form is all down to the players. Wenger's tactics/Management has been sub-par.

Here's to hoping for a injury free 2nd half of the season, and injury-free reinforcements. But we'll be lucky if both happen.

At least we finally broken our season long jinx of beating a team in the top end of the table, despite the fact they're not even a top 6 club.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
As i said before. You have set up a situation where you can complain unconditionally about Wenger and not give any credit for anything positive that happens. If we win, its the players. If we lose its all Wenger. Come on now its getting silly

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Players have been fantastic, they've restored some winning mentality, that is positive

United already had 3 senior center backs this season (not including Carrick) then they bought Rojo.

See people would listen to your 'reasoned objective' arguments if they weren't lies and misleading propaganda.

Well there is absolute no doubt that our injury list is a reason for not compete on top of the table. Anyone who deny it simply should look for another sport to follow.

Put away 6-7 first team player from Chelsea squad they would struggle as well. No doubt. See City cant beat Burnley at home today.

Whose fault is it that our players are always injured every season inevitably costing us numerous points?

Likewise why do Chelsea never seem to suffer injuries and can play the same squad almost every week without any sign of players suffering fatigue or burnout?
