Problem is vidi, with this being such a specific, and to many completely new way of writing up agreements for fans purchasing season tickets, you cant blame people for maybe taking things for granted, in terms of the previous agreements they had signed up for in the past.
Obviously if the club had flagged up and made it obvious to fans about any new changes to the agreement, if indeed these are new, in regards of purchasing a season ticket, then your correct, put up, or shut up, for now at least.
If on the other hand the club has changed the rules, and simply sneaked it into a long winded terms and conditions, then the fans in my opinion have every right to be upset.

Really vc because no contract has ever been challenged or broken because situations dictate it must be.
.............
Not my problem.
Most people I know will sort out the legalities of a contract before signing it.
The United fans complaining about it aren't most people though, and it's not your problem but for some people it is and that's my point.
Just because it's in a contract doesn't mean circumstances change and the contract isn't fair.
It certainly is a problem for some people that's the truth of it.
And it's been highlighted.

This would be perfectly understandable if this was something new.
This has been going on for the last five years or so I believe, possibly longer.
Given the negative publicity to the club over this does anyone think that the club and anyother clubs doing this type of scheme will amend the agreement?
Fans deserve better.

And my point, and MUDd's, is don't sign up to something if you don't want to abide by it. I hate whiners, especially whiners who have no actual grounds to be whining.

Fair enough.
Listen vc, when city changed the policy on carers escorting disabled fans to games paying for tickets instead of free tickets I was appalled and vocal on the subject.
My opinion as a fan and consumer is that fans get treated by clubs terribly and that's the truth.
No problem with any of that Loz.
Possibly the nicest thing you have ever said to meπ±
