A score line that really flattered Wolves but who cares and we won due to some excellent finishing. Didn't think we played very well defensively and Rotherham missed a host of chances and Kucszcak made half a dozen excellent saves. Could easily have been another 6-4. Afobe and Dicko were excellent and it was good to see all 4 midfield players getting up in support at times. But will Kenny now play the positive football to get the best out of this attack. Far too cautious again after the break and Rotherham could easily have got back into the game. And good to see Doyler back in a Wolves shirt, one of the biggest cheers of the afternoon when he came on.
We play counter attacking football DJ.
That's a brand of positive football. You need to get with the programme.
Flattered us......really? Stearman had another good game and the defence coped with everything they threw at us and when they did get through Kuszcak was equal to it, surely our counter attacking style is by far the most positive attack we've had for many a season.

In league one when randomly popped in for two games, showed he was nowhere near ready though and it backfired.
More time for Doyle in the coming weeks.

Doyle was only played to hopefully finally push him out the door.
If you are blessed with a player that has a talent that is worth £40,000 a week, it makes sense to utilise that talent anyway you can.
What a well-grounded young man:

Nice to hear that the decent Wolves fans gave him a great reception.
Doyle was played because we have a game on Tuesday and our head coach is not as short sighted as some. His substitution of Dicko and Afobe was not only tactically correct it was pre-planned. Kenny got it spot on today and his pre match talk to the players obviously worked too. Expect more of the same on Tuesday.
That makes sense, Dances. When you have such experience and talent in the squad, it makes sense to keep them in the loop and involved. Okay, Doyle may not be here much longer, but while we have him, he should be available.

Wolfgang, Have just read this after returning from the game. Went in a Transit van in the end Anyway, thanks for the offer, I appreciate it
Doyle is a handy option from the bench, especially if we are k joking to maintain possession late in a game, he is great at slowing the play down and keeping hold of the ball.

No club in there right mind would give Doyle a contract worth 40k a week at this moment in time. That's why he hasn't left us.

Bute are you saying all the thousands of wolves fans that didn't give him a great reception are decent fans?
This Doyle praise is phony and arrives easily after 5-0 win.
Had we lost 2-0 and Doyle came on and did nothing there would be fans questioning his introduction.
Doyle is our third striker obviously and was used today (he wasn't needed to score) to rest our strikers. If it was a shop window thing then Jacobs would have come on instead of La Parra
Actually I felt a bit sorry for Doyle Cinci, When Wolves were playing possession football towards the end of the game they seemed reluctant to give Doyle the ball when no-one on the field could hold the ball up better than him. He also had the chance of a simple tap in when he was unmarked at the back post waiting for a cross from RVLP. Unfortunately RVLP made the wrong decision AGAIN and went for glory putting it in the side netting.
