Doyle was only played to hopefully finally push him out the door.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nice to hear that the decent Wolves fans gave him a great reception.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bute are you saying all the thousands of wolves fans that didn't give him a great reception are decent fans?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Should have read aren't

This Doyle praise is phony and arrives easily after 5-0 win.

Had we lost 2-0 and Doyle came on and did nothing there would be fans questioning his introduction.

Doyle is our third striker obviously and was used today (he wasn't needed to score) to rest our strikers. If it was a shop window thing then Jacobs would have come on instead of La Parra

Yeah, we always praise Doyle after out 5-0 wins. I remember the last time. Oh, wait!

What I'm saying is... Wolves fans were in a good mood and excited by the play-offs and think Doyle can help.

Easily forgotten are the reasons we stopped playing him.

Easily forgotten is that he flew to Colorado in the week to find a route away from us.

you were there were you, you heard fans say that ?

I've read DJ's match report above and another ten that said he received a great reception.

I won't get dragged into any Doyle gratitude when he's leaving in a few weeks on loan.

Doyle has no future at wolves and hasn't for a couple of seasons now, he hasn't contributed anything and cost us a fortune, he couldn't even do it in league 1.

Why do we have to have these articles from this guy from mol mix every game? Not as though his player assessments bear any relationship to the games.

Good to see Doyle back. No way would we find anyone better than him in the loan market to give us a much needed third striker. Hope he stays to see his contract out. Afobe and Dicko were the real difference today taking their chances excellently. Rotherham created just as many chances but didn't have the same quality up front. I thought Iorfa, Edwards and McDonald also did well on the day.

Amazing how many 'did you even go to the match?' comments from Wolfgang on the one day he actually goes to a match.

I do agree with pundit though. If we had lost 2-0 we would have been questioning Afobe, Dicko, our defence and keeper and the manager.

But we didn't, we won 5-0

I didn't say that DJ, I said 'questioning Doyle's introduction'.

Are you telling me Doyle would have played if we didn't have Fulham on Tuesday? I think not.

We will see how committed Doyle is to Wolves in the next few weeks.

Let's see if he repays your appreciation or goes to the U.S. for the dollars.

Why do I post this guys post match report???

Because he is a wolves fan and highly respected one on another forum, he comes across as someone very neutral to all who read his reports and he pits together a good one, sooooo I figure most wolves fans would appreciate a good read up, its just one opinion of many hundred.

He won't go to Colorado, they will be looking for better cheaper options I imagine. They have to be very careful with regards to wages.

I don't care where he goes. When we ignored Doyle, who's done nothing for us since 2010, we turned our focus towards two players called Dicko and Afobe.

Doyle is not our future.

Amen.

But a handy sub none the less.

Though I do agree regarding the adulation today, he isn't the bleeding messiah.

Spot on.

I'd have our two current strikers over him any day, even when he was at his best at Reading.

Doyle was my favourite player when we in the premier league, he is a great professional and I don't make these comments likely.

The club made a stance to get rid of these players. Two players...Stephen Ward and Karl Henry gave everything for us and we're excellent over a long period of time.

I don't think it's fair to bring Doyle back into the fold when we let players like Henry go. Henry has pulled on the gold shirt since the age of 12, when I myself was in that changing room pulling it on with him.

Doyle is starting because no other club will take him.

I think it's classy of our fans to applaud him and I'm glad they did, but I'm not getting glass eyed about his presence until the end of the season.

Could Pundit tell us the last three Wolves league games he actually attended anywhere in the country? He's such an expert on how they play.
