Absolute nonsense article. One of the worst I have ever seen on here.
The guy has just won one trophy and will most likely be adding the title to that in a few months time.
5 seasons in England as a manager and it could be 3 titles plus a few cups too. What a clown he must be.
I'd carry him on my back from London to Manchester all the way up the M6 to get him to be our manager.
The guy is a natural born winner. End of.
Agree with this totally. Chelsea had the talent to take the game to PSG (especially a 10 man PSG) but as the game went on and PSG could see that Chelsea would concede ground they grew even more bold.
Weird tactics.

I don't remember saying he was a clown, what I'm saying is Chelsea should have gone through and they didn't because of their coach.
Absolutely ridiculous article.
While I am no fan of JM or his brand of football, CFC drawing the match last night had nothing to do with JM’s desire, or belief in his team.
PSG were the better side on the night, and going down to 10 men galvanised them rather than being a hindrance.
The match again highlighted the general poor quality of the PL when compared to others.
Chelsea will win the PL and with the LC already secured, not a bad season IMO.
He lost on away goals. Not exactly a crime ffs. And against a quality team too tbf.
Only one man can lift that cup. There's going to be plenty more "mourinho's" before that trophy is lifted in Berlin in May.
The guy's track record is second to none. He's actually winning trophies on average more frequently than Fergie did.

It's too simplistic to just blame the manager. The players looked physically and mentally fatigued last night and just weren't at the races. It happens.
They also played against a quality team who were just better on the night.
I'd swap LVG for Jose in a heartbeat but maybe that's just me.
He lost on away goals. Not exactly a crime ffs. And against a quality team too tbf.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is a crime i'm afraid.
If PSG were in the same situation at Old Trafford in Sir Alex's last season in charge (one of United's weaker sides over the years), i wouldn't give them a prayer.
PSG are a good side and they played with quality and heart but possibly their best player was sent off after 20 odd minutes, lets be serious here.
I'd swap LVG for Jose in a heartbeat but maybe that's just me.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So would I, but that doesn't say much.
I've never understood why Mourinho has such a big fan base at Utd, it's weird. I understand why there are big Ronaldo fans at Utd due to his time at OT but the Mourinho worship by some of the fan base is weird, he's the manager of a rival pl team!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
What.....so we can't respect people who manage or play for other clubs in England?
Maybe we're just not as pathetic as you lot.
Chelsea are only rivals of Utd through recent competition too. There's no long lasting rivalry with them. I don't really dislike them at all. Just another (quality) team.
Liverpool, City, Leeds & to some extent Arsenal are our main rivals.
Everyone else is just another team we have to play.
Mourinho is a quality manager and deserves respect for what he's done in the game.
The thing I don't get is the people wanting to see the United way" back and are criticising LVGs style of play that want Mourinho. You've got Mourinho mark one as your manager now.
It is a crime i'm afraid.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well watch out for a lot more "crimes" because every remaining team, bar one, will receive the same fate as Jose's boys before end of season.
It's a ridiculously hard competition to win. It's no coincidence a team has never retained it. And I doubt Real will break that record either.
The thing I don't get is the people wanting to see the United way" back and are criticising LVGs style of play that want Mourinho. You've got Mourinho mark one as your manager now.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Couldn't agree more, United are a club that expect to be the best and expect to do it in a positive manner.
Mourinho is not the man for that job.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mourinho mark one? Very flattering for Van Gaal that. Jose is easily the better of the two. By some distance too.
Jose isn't boring. He's methodical. His teams always score goals and are exciting when they need to be.
You can't win everything (unless you're Man United circa 99 )
People going way overboard as usual. In a few months time he'll have a bigger smile than the river Thames when they win the title.
He's the best manager in England by a LONG way. If he's flawed, god help everyone else.
Well watch out for a lot more "crimes" because every remaining team, bar one, will receive the same fate as Jose's boys before end of season.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
That makes no sense.
I didn't even hint that being knocked out in general was a crime, the nature of Chelsea's exit in particular was the crime.
I would not expect a supposedly top European side to bow out in such a timid, pathetic way with an extra man for an hour and a half.
Couldn't agree more, United are a club that expect to be the best and expect to do it in a positive manner.

I would have fancied us to have retained our title last season under Jose.
He'd have strengthened, where Moyes failed to, and would have kept the team spirit together. We'd have certainly got top 3 too at the very least.

Who called them a top European side? I didn't.
How many times did Fergie have fantastic teams of ours fail in the CL? Quite a lot.
It's hard to win. You need a lot of luck and sometimes things just don't go your way.
You're just being incredibly harsh on the guy.
What do your class our collapse at Leicester then if last night was a crime? We didn't face Zlatan, Cavani, Verratti that day. It was Vardy & Nugent.

Moyes was just a disaster, no point in comparing that season to anything another coach could have done because i could probably name at least 50 who would have done better.
I do agree that Mourinho would have got CL football, comfortably.
Mourinho is a winner but in a comparable way to how he didn't fit Real Madrid, he doesn't fit United either IMO.

Nobody fits in at Real Madrid first and foremost. You get 1 -3 years (3 if you're lucky) and then that's you done.
And he's never managed United so i don't know how you can reach that conclusion.
I don't always like his actions either. But his strengths far outweigh his flaws. FAR FAR outweigh. Nobody is perfect. Fergie wasn't either.

I have no confience whatsoever in LVG, let me make that clear.
I don't think i'm being harsh on Mourniho. Losing happens but the manner of Chelsea's exit was a reflection of their manager's shortcomings.
Even in Mourinho's press conference he hints at his team feeling pressure with the extra man and also referenced the relative simplicity of Chelsea's required approach to last seasons second leg against the same opponents.
IMO last night was also simple and I can bet you that Blanc was surprised not by Chelsea lack of quality but by their lack of attacking desire. This is the fault of Mourinho tactically.
