He was actually charged with misconduct the particulars of which are within that rule, which is a blanket rule detailing a variety of offences and the description of said charge is that he spat at Cisse. The FA released a report on this.
Vidic is trying to paint it as if they charged him with disrepute, not spitting when it does not even make a difference what the charge is called provided it is the result of Evans spitting at Cisse.
