In the US you have the right to bare arms.

How do we know he wasn't harming himself in the back if the van. How do you know he wasn't smasjing his head against the cage. I've seen that plenty if times, I've seen a person in the back of a police van violently banging their head against the cage causing himself harm. That's just a typical day in Manchester City centre
is it worth torching a whole city for though??
surely the black community are not doing themselves any favours by doing this.
sure protest, but why affect the lives of innocent people who have had nothing to do with the whole situation.
Manc python chatting shìt. 80% severed spinal chord and he talks about someone banging their head ffs.

Amazing.
He had a crushed voiced box as well.
Lol python that is one of the most stupid comments I've ever seen on the internet. You should bang your head against the wall until you sever your spinal chord. See how easy it is.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say I don't think Manc Python has read the injuries sustained by Freddie Gray in this incident. Smashing his head against the cage ffs!!!! HA!
BLAME, BLAME, BLAME; solutions?
There are clearly issues, I don’t think any one would dispute that but to polarize arguments and treating this as black and white (excuse the pun) not only is ignorant but it doesn’t serve anyone. In fact issues will never got resolved while everyone is so focused on casting aspersions creating an us and them stand off (while also serving to justify root issues on both ‘sides&rsquo and never really tackling issues as a society.
I think it's quite clear how naive many of you actually are.
You probably all live in this pink fluffy world where everybody is good natured blah blah
Yes all Police officers aren't angels. Some of them are corrupt, over excessive etc etc but some you lot make assumptions before investigations have even been completed. Blinded by what was reported in the media. I keep going back to the Duggan case but proving the point that ultimately Police did the right thing yet some if you lot at the time I bet were outraged by Police actions and felt the riots as Robb put it 'were understandable'
No-one wants riots. But how else does an entire community get the message across to the world that there are huge injustices?
The people slating the rioters have never lived in a world where you are judged by your colour and you live in a very real fear of being assaulted or shot by a police force who seem to constantly get away scot free with actions we would be shocked if we knew the scale on which they happen.
Anyone has the potential for rioting if the conditions are right. Look at the poll tax riots in the early 90's. When the system is massively skewed in favour of the haves instead of the have nots there aren't really a lot of options available to people who can't stop the injustices.
You keep using the word naive like you think it's gonna stick. Mate give up, you're really embarrassing yourself. You're naive if you don't think there is systematic racism on a huge level within the U.S
had the police opened fire on the rioters what would peoples opinions have been???
could they have any complaints?
Black people get treated like sh-t and are tired and angry and a few see it as a stupid reason riot. It's not excusable but the situation is complex and clearly many are unable to understand this.
There's a great clip of a black mum slapping her son who is dressed up to go riot, kind of shows part the situation. Black people are angry and rightly so but that doesn't mean all of them are rioting.

Dunc you need to focus on the bigger picture. You're just repeating the same garbage in a different format over again.

I can't believe you've got the front to call other people naive when you've suggested that a broken neck, a broken back and a crushed voice box might have been the result of Freddie Gray smashing his head against a cage.
no im not, these people were putting the lives of innocent people at risk but burning down shops, homes and nursing homes.
regardless of what happened, to put the lives of others at risk is unacceptable.
sure, focus your frustrations on the police, but not on others.
So how do you suggest they go about their injustices?

Dunk
But they're angry and the treatment they receive isn't fair. Like I say, I'm not condoning riots but sometimes you just flip and feel there's no other way to show that frustration and anger. But of course there are plenty of idiots taking advantage of a serious situation for their own gain.

no, i just dont think these people should be burning down other peoples homes and buisnesses.
is it ok to burn down a house with a family in it to show your frustration?
is it acceptable to burn down a 16 million dollar nursing home that was funded by the church?
