All I want to see is players busting a gut to achieve things , not turn up at Burnley in a must win game and stroll around the pitch like a bunch of cants and walk off happy with a 0-0 to a team that's getting relegated

------

poch and the team got slated for that, and the club have admitted that they were poor in that game...

so what are you talking about?

Well said Weare

Chronic makes so many excuses, it is either Europa dragging Spurs back, or Spurs cannot compete with the top teams through lack of funds. A bit of guts and effort on the pitch may go a long way to actually getting a bit of parity from time to time.

Greatteamswinit4times- a terrible enemy

You saying "I don't care about watching European games now because I did 50 years ago" is completely ridiculous and incredibly short sighted.

Why would it be, I have already said I don`t like modern footie that much, so why would I be forced to say I like a modern product that I think is inferior to what I watched in the past.

You enjoy it mate, but don`t force it on me.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you don't enjoy it, then why do you watch it? I have seen you on here defending yourself about watching every game on stream. This is what I mean, you message is completely muddled.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
of course its muddled, sandy still thinks its 1962

Chronic - Just about still keeping the faith

so did the double winning side you lot are all waaaanking over win all their games, or did they have any poor results along the way?

Just the 31 games won, and 115 goals scored, something worth waaaaaaanking over.

If you knew your history Chronic which I doubt you do , you would know they won their first 11 games and went 31 games unbeaten
----------------------------------------------------------------------
so you avoided the question.

I will ask again

Did the double winning side have any poor results over the course of the season? yes or no?

try answering this time before preaching to me about 11 wins in a row as if that is what was being discussed

You are also one of the fans that repeatedly calls for the first XI to be left at home for away games in Europe.

yeah.. because we don't need to play the full first team to qualify through the group stages - as has been proven season in season out.

its not a hard concept sandy...... meanwhile you apparently don't care about the league finish, but cry like a baby when we lose a league game

I wonder what billy nich would make of your indifference to how spurs finish in the league... what does your pal weare make of that?

Sorry mate, you got the bit right about winning their first 11 games, but they were defeated at Sheffield Wednesday on their 16th games. Still at least you made the effort. Chronic would have been clueless.

Chronic

I watch every Spurs game I can on streams or live on TV, but watch very little other football. Spurs are part of me, and will be until I am six foot under, don`t mean I love the modern game though. Tottenham was were I was born, and brought up, so has, is and will always be part of my life.

still haven't answered the question weare. are you scared or something?

why wont you answer the simple question?

did the double winning side have any poor results ? and if they did, and were the best team in the lane, then why is it so surprising that the current team, who are a way off being the best team in the lane, also have some?

and we are you wumming me about my own team winning trophies you clown?

do you think its gonna wind me up that spurs won the league?

Thought you didn't know we had won the league as it was pre 1990 s
----------------------------------------------------------------------

so you have confirmed that you cannot read.

I said I started watching spurs mid 90s, so I cannot comment on how spurs played pre that time because I never watched them ! I apologise for not being alive. I will tell my parents off.

anyway, that clearly doesn't stop me from knowing what we won and when we won it.

and you still haven't answered the question that you keep ducking. it more or less confirms what we all already know... you don't have a leg to stand on, and your argument is shiiit
