Thought it was a decent watch. Don't think they made use of the setting as much as they could, and the younger men all sounded like modern day high school bros, but wasn't bad.

Well ok, the mistake Disney made was giving a little budget, and going straight for the streaming platform…
But what Dan did on a $65m was great I thought.
And set up a nice new base for future Predator films.

Thinking about it again, in my earlier spy list in some cases there I've got spy mixed up with detective.

Psycho and Blow-Up probably don't really qualify

I agree its a good set up - but that budget and straight to streaming was its saving grace imo. I don't think that story had much more left in it, and I don't think a bigger budget would have helped. It looked pretty solid for the most part. I don't like this excuse of budget - especially when you look at something like Godzilla

I think in Prey they did aboot enough to not stray over into that foolishness and make her credible. Her Brother was a complete badass..

The thing aboot the setting, well, that comes down to Budget. For what Dan did, he shot the hell out of that.

For me, Prey sits joint 2nd with Predators.
Then Predator 2.
Yeh I said it.

Yeah, the premise was fantastic. Just felt let down by the end. But predator clashing with natives in the past…that’s up there with vampires going after a town in Alaska when the sun doesn’t rise for a month aka 30 Days of Night.

Danny Glover was just the wrong choice.

But I can get behind Predator 2. Feels like a comic come to life.

I hope they do make a series of films of Predators in the past though. They need need need Japan, heck even some European knights, or cross over with 300??
