The Force Awakens apparently sees much less CGI and much more real sets etc. That can only be a good thing and bring a feeling of authenticity.

The shiny, rubbery, bad lighting and bad physics of CGI ruin the look of nearly everything "alive"
Should only be used for mechanical things and backdrops IMO.

Depends which shows though. I did hear that was the case with Walking Dead which is why I never watched it.
But something like Vikings is very well paced and there's very rarely a boring episode.

OK the story arc I saw (non canon) sounded very similar to that except that younger Han is an Imperial officer of some kind who decided to free Chewie and quit the Empire, embarking on a life of smuggling with Chewie.
Either way whatever story they do it will be some kind of variation of that I'd imagine, with or without Han being part of the Empire.
Superb ruling with an iron fist.
