Just to add that's why Agent Carter is a much better show as it's free to go where it wants and isn't constantly having to change it's course to follow the story about movies that don't even acknowledge it's existence anyway.
By comparison in Ultron we even see a flashback of Cap with Peggy Carter and that felt like a validation of the Agent Carter TV show.
What's your thoughts off Spider-Man getting involved now? Personally I'm not a big fan off him.
-------------------------------
Not sure just yet. The idea of making him a really young Spiderman who's still in High School concerns me a bit.
Next to Stark and co there's a danger that he'll just be this annoying kid they have to babysit a bit.
On the other hand I thought that Ultron was underwhelming and the MCU needs to do something a bit different.
The recent Iron Man and Thor movies were also really disappointing in my opinion.
Personally I think that the upcoming DC movies are going to blow Marvel out of the water.
Ok first off i dont like Agents of SHIELD that much, if there is nothing on i will watch it, but i have never found the need to pick it up each week. However, Wheldon has no say over cannon and whats connected, he directed a few movies end of, secondly if i remember correctly wasnt there a cameo by Sammy L? So whether Mr Wheldon likes it or not they are connected

Indeed there was but there was no acknowledgement of that event happening in any of the MCU movies.
At no point in any of the MCU movies does Fury acknowledge or even hint to Coulson being anything other than long dead.

apart from the Snow Zombies v Wild Things battle a couple episodes ago this has to be the worst show on TV.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is exactly why I haven't watched any of season 5 yet. Seems like they're just coasting off their success.
Season 4 was a definite drop in quality from the first three seasons. Only good thing about season 4 was the battle at the wall. The rest was dull.

and? They explain in one of the first few episodes that the agents of shield are off the record even to the avengers, and it was also best not to mention coulson surviving as cap might find out and get pizzed

Superb
I have already watched most of the show but be careful about dropping spoilers like that man!
This is my main problem with the books Superb, you put so much time and effort into a character for them just to be pointless killed off sometimes. Look at the poor old onion knight, big part player in one book, takes half the book with his story and enjoy his character, reads the next book, dont see anything from him and then just a random passage says "oh yeh hes dead by the way". And honestly if a certain character dies in the next book who is at the brink of death in book 5 ( i dont know if this is the case with the series) i will be seriously pished as i would have put so much time into this character. Sometime you feel why bother, say an interesting thing where people have been saying they are just getting bored of GoT as there isnt a balance just bad, bad, bad with the occasional not so bad.

Yeah but I just see that as a cop out though.
If Coulson's Agent of Shield really still exist in the MCU then why have we never seen them pop up in any of the subsequent movies where the very existence of the world has been in peril ?
What are Coulson and his crew doing in these moments ? Kicking back on a beach just assuming that one or all of the Avengers will take care of it without any help from them ?
It just doesn't add up to me and by the sound of Joss Whedon's comments he would happily cancel Agents of Shield tomorrow if he could.

there is only two character that you can root for, the Hobbit Guy and Jon Snow.
horrible show
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly and even those two get on my nerves.
Tyrion has some redeeming qualities but he's still a scu'mbag Lannister at the end of the day.
As for Jon Snow his story arc is quite dull (up until season 4 anyway). They need him to get his own army and replace Rob Stark as the King of North or something like that.
Same reason you dont see every hero pop up in every world ending event.........you dont think if the world was ending that all the other heroes would just stand by and let it happen or just let 6 guys n girls sort it? Well if you watch the avengers thats exactly what you would think..........just cos things arent said doesnt make it true, and i see more evidence of Agents existing in MCU than not
But im gonna leave it there now with this one, lets talk more GoT and other stuff. Wasnt someone off to see Jurassic World?
