I know someone here watches Arrow - are you upto date? Looks like we're getting rewarded for putting up with S3&4 - the finale looks like it's going to be pretty great.

I'm a couple episodes behind on Arrow, but have really enjoyed this season apart from one or two episodes. Surprised they could even make a season this good based on the quality of the last two. You're right, I'm glad I didn't give up on the show.

I've enjoyed this season almost as much as the first two.

I gave up on Arrow. It just lost the plot. The first couple of seasons were good but then it just went ridiculous.

Seasons 3&4 were pretty awful admittedly, but s5 has mostly been back to the standard of 1&2 and I'm more excited for the finale than I have been any TV in a while!

Worth watching even if you skip 3&4

I binged watch Cowboy-Bebop a few years back.

Yep.Solid effort from what I remember.

I've heard that one of the major hollywood productions has its rights for a live-action adaption.Not sure about that,similar to my issues if they made a live-action AKIRA.

Watch any of the Studio Ghibli movies? Saw a few when I was there and have now watched most of them. Made about 20 over the years. Some of them are a bit childish, but they made a couple of really dark ones too.

Yep,I've always been a fan of Studio Ghibli.

The Red Turtle,which I rated above,is co-produced by Ghibli.So check that out when you can.Good film.

Anyone watched "The Accountant" ?

Ghibli tend to have their fingers in a few animated films outside of their zone,usually French.

My favourite Ghibli film ?

Probably Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.
A extravagantly fantastical SCI-FI film with a good story,characters,humour and general depth in its animation design.
Also I admire it's visual style purely because it's very reminiscent of French comic book artist Jean Giraud Aka Mœbius work.
