Rewatching Band of Brothers now. Such a great great show!

Band of Brothers was brilliant.

Would love to see another WWII TV series like it. Maybe in the style of Fury in tanks.

As for Birdman I won't be rushing to watch the rest of it as it just looked like the kind of movie that would get on my nerves.

Each to their own though. I saw Ted 2 yesterday and much better than the terrible reviews. Not as good as 1 though.

Have you watched Generation War Superb? Not as brilliant but it is also a great show about the war. It's German show so you might need to get one with subtitles.

No I haven't seen or heard about Generation War in truth. Will keep an eye for it though.

I'm not obsessed with WWII by any means but Band of Brothers was particularly good.

Trust me it's a must-have. Made by the same people who did Downfall. Stunningly accurate historical portrayal. The scene where they are walking through the high cornfield and find the Soviet patrol right next to them was classic.

It isn't a spinoff at all. It portrays a group of friends who went into the war and agreed to meet again at some pub after they had won the war. Stunning storytelling.

As Wumpatrol says it's a stand alone series in 3 parts running for about 4.5 hours. Great fayre.

Just had a closer look at the trailer for Suicide Squad and there's a weird amount of Satanic iconography. We see a pentagram painted on a wall behind the Enchantress character, after that someone wearing a goat's head and then we hear Harley Quinn's character say "are you the devil" at one point.

We also get the word devil mentioned in the Batman v Superman movie which is essentially a twin movie to Suicide Squad.

Could just be a coincidence but why do we have to hear the word devil referenced in the trailer for both of these movies ?

Couldn't find Generation War on Genesis on my Kodi box but will keep searching for it.

Pacific looks really good. They only did one series though.

I need to rewatch The Pacific. I watched it quite a long time ago and I quite enjoyed it although it wasn't as great as BOB.

I just watched the Exorcist. Wish the didnt reference the devil so often.

You would expect that in a movie about exorcism though, not really in a comic book movie.

Are all comics the same? Are there restrictions? Maybe someone should have a word or two with the Hellboy creator.
