Haha... The WWE gig was for an Editors position.
I loved their promos.
But their turn-around is insane... I think they go through editors like Water!!
Personally, I would say to any young buck that the Runner position is the way forward.
Great grounding, you get to learn your trade, but more importantly, it's the proverbial 'foot in the door'..
But the money won't be good.. But the experience, invaluable.
I did go to film school, and got A-Levels in Media Studies... And my first job.. Making tea.. Humbling for sure, but a fantastic experience.
In a year alone in the Job I learnt so much..
Show willing, and they will be giving.
I have been predominately based in a Post Production facility.
Son of Rambo was a great film! Did you like Production work?..

I didn't mind it. It was obviously only a day but it was great to be a part of it and see the finished product. I hear about it all the time from my Dad. He has his own company now and seems to be doing really well. He's really hard to get hold of as he is always working!

Stringer had a read through it and sounds like a good laugh. Certainly not something you get to experience every day.

When they were putting on a show alongside the screening of Empire howdid that work exactly ? Were they just recreating what you were seeing on screen ?

That trailer looks great, so glad we're going to see Vader in the Rogue One movie even if he's not the main antagonist.

Are you excited with the news that the Han Solo prequel is official ? The casting of the young Han is going to be crucial.

Is there any doubt - surely Pratt all the way?? Or do you think they will go younger unknown? But its set just before New Hope isnt it? Will this be following some of the story arcs from the comics do we think that have recently become cannon?

Nice trailer - really good for such early stuff. Unreal 4 is the way forward and we are going to see some massive improvements in game ambient over the next few years.

Simon I think that Chris Pratt is being lined up to be the new Indy so not sure he could be the new Indy and Han. Not impossible I suppose.

I've got a feeling that the Han Solo movie is going to centre around a younger Han than the age Chris Pratt is now though.

There was a rumour a couple of years ago that Robert Pattinson was being lined up to be the new Han but that rumour went a bit dead, as did Pattinson's career recently.

This - and basically Indie and Hans are the same person, just in different universes.........

It would be big enough shoes to fill for any actor just to walk into one of those roles, let alone both though.

Also would movie audiences accept that ? Not sure as Indy and Han are such iconic movie characters.

Both properties are now owned by Disney so it's certainly not impossible to have the same actor playing both. Would be more convenient but I just don't see it.

Especially as I suspect that they're going to go fairly young with the Han prequel, meaning they're probably looking for an actor in his twenties.

Well the Indy role i think they will have Pratt as they need a star to help pull in the punters as i dont think "Indy" cuts it more as a name alone, and he is Hollywoods sweetheart at the moment.

Well Ford was what mid 30s in the first film, i suppose it depends what Solo story they will try and tell, and in all honesty i could certainly see them going with one of the specefic arcs from the new comics, if im too be honest i would say it had to have been put in there for the sole purpose of linking with the film, as someone would need rather large balls to do that without permission from the very very top.

Simon I think Pratt is perfect for Indy and the box office success of Guardians and Jurassic World only helps his cause. He's a done deal for Indy as far as I'm concerned.

The Han Solo prequel is different though. I think they're going to focus on a younger, edgier and morally ambiguous Han. An anti-hero who does what he wants when he wants irrespective of consequences.

Younger Han will have to a reckless chancer type character in many ways. There's a reason Jabba put a huge bounty on him which they may focus on.

They may be looking at this Han prequel as a trilogy in its own right. Who knows.

Hey Superb, spot on, they were recreating what you're seeing, done at the same time. There was a balcony, and stage in front so from time to time actors would come out and play out a scene. Luke v Vader and the Ice Chamber scene being the highlight!

As for Chris Pratt, I dunno, he's been touted as the next Indy!!.. It's a hard task, I thought they'd go younger.
Anyone seen Anthony Ingruber?..

Hey Stringer sounds cool, really never heard of anything like that before. Shame you weren't allowed to photo any of it.

Yeah I've seen the Antony Ingruber impression of Han Solo and it's unbelievable how much he looks, sounds and acts like Han in Episode 4. Freaky really. I'll get a link to the vid.

What?... A female Solo?!

Well, apparently Kath Kennedy has said, there will be a strong female presence in these new films..
Maybe Rouge One, it has a Female lead...
My suspicious mind thinks she'll play Mon, from Return of Jedi.. "Many Bothans died to get this information"...
