Hey Supes,
Yeah, I caught that trailer. And I hope it's good.
I like MB Jordan. Good actor.. Some say I'm biased towards the guy..
Don't know what they're on about?!
If this has the feels of Rocky 1-2, then it's onto a winner..
Remember seeing Rocky 5 in the cinema... Got slapped up the head by me dad, for saying how rubbish it was..Vowed never to see a Stallone film again... Then Cliffhanger came out, and he restored a bit of pride.
Ripper Street starts again this week on BBC1
love me so olden times crime thrillers....
Anyone here finished watching the first 5 episodes of Season 5 Suits?
Stringer sorry to hear that mate, not sure why you deserved the slap for Rocky 5 being crap though
Creed looks definitely more in the style of Rocky 1 and 2. Almost looks like a loose remake of 1 in some ways or at least a serious homage to it.
Anyone seen Chappie? Watched it last night and was a lot better than I thought it would be.
Haven't seen either of Ripper Street or Suits yet but keep hearing good things. I think Ripper Street is probably more up my street, excuse the pun. Looks gritty as fack. Is it set in Jack the Ripper times?
Kash yeah I saw Chappie at the cinema. Seen all of Blomquist's movies at the cinema and Chappie was the most disappointing of the three.
It definitely has it's merits and good parts but it just seemed like a grittier and more violent version of Short Circuit.
A champions lg winner with the greatest and now a movie maker!! Jesper we salute you....
I heard that Blomkamp fellas not bad either... Hope his new Alien film with Weaver & Biehn gets made!!!
Did I say Blomquist
You'll have to excuse me I'm a Chelsea fan.

Yeah, Ripper Street is on series 3 now I think, its set in era of jack teh ripper but is not about the ripper.
its very good, gritty and well worth a watch.
Stringer I think that Blomkamp would be perfect to direct a Dredd sequel, especially if they set some of the movie in the Cursed Earth, he'd be in his element with mutants etc.
I'm on season 2 of the "The Wire".
Can't believe D got copped, I thought he would be there throughout the series
Hey Superb, didn't Blomkamp want to do a Halo Movie?!
I don't know much about Dredd, but I did enjoy the last one. Shame they won't do a sequel.
Not enough bums on seats..
When I heard about Ripper St, I got excited, but cos it's not about Jack, I lost interest.
Bad excuse I know... Is it worth a look?
Hmmm?... 'The Wire'..?!...
Sounds familiar,.. Any good?

Does Jack feature in it at all?
I have finished all the " big " shows like Breaking bad, sopranos etc a long time ago. I'm currently on " Hannibal" " banshee" "Ray donovan" ... I have to say Banshee is one of the sickest underrated shows out there. I am loving Ray Donovan to
Hi Superb.
I wouldn’t describe Ripper Street as gritty, it is quite light in comparison to something like Peaky Blinders imo but I do enjoy it non the less. The characters are really good and the yank Doc has a very cool, the wardrobe department sorted him out with a good get up.
Stringer not sure about the Halo movie. Didn't they abandon doing a live action movie? Probably a wise decision because as good as the game is I just don't see it translating well to a movie.
Maybe to a TV show, but then the same could be said for Dredd which could also be a great TV show if done right.
The Droog I'll definitely give Ripper Street a go then, it's been on my to watch list for ages
Hi all. First time browser, first time poster.
Things -
- I went to see Terminator on Sat. Walked out after 30 minutes. Awful writing, awful no sensical exposition, a teenage angst Sarah Connor, and the worst casting of any film ever.
- I also lasted the same amount of time with Ted 2. Equally as bad.
- I've seen Antman twice so far and loved it each time. Top 3 Marvel film for me.
- Last night I watched the Dark Knight again, and as always, Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker absolutely blew me away. I have serious reservations about Suicide Squad.
- I have tickets booked for Mission Impossible at the new iMax in Leeds Thursday, and to say I'm excited is an understatement. Lovely popcorn actiony film.
- I still dont know what to think about the end of Inception, and whether or not he's still 'under'....
- I don't like Adam Sandler. At all.
- My favourite film of (just about) all time is Dark City, closely followed by Aliens.

What's Banshee about then?
Dress TV show. Could work.
Problem is, who do you get to play the part of a Masked man. An unknown would do it in a heartbeat.
Established actor?.. Hmmm..
Just hope Dredd TV doesn't go the way of Robocop TV series... Ew!!
Anyone watch Child 43 yet? I was really looking forward to it when I saw the trailers but didn't hear much reaction to it.
