Yeah that's fair enough. Comic book movies are increasingly geared towards an adult audience. They shouldn't be limited and are a continuously evolving thing.
If the theme of Satanism actually plays a part in the plot for Suicide Squad then you can understand the Satanic references in the trailer. But if it doesn't then it's just odd in my opinion.
RtM you'll be delighted to hear that I'm well and truly addicted to Entourage or The Entourage as you call it
Balls deep into series 3 already and am flying through episodes of it. It's so damn addictive.
Also has anyone seen Wayward Pines yet ? I wasn't as impressed with the second episode as the first pilot episode. In fact I thought the second episode was borderline absurd.
I'm happy to suspend my disbelief when watching fiction but that really stretched it to the max.
Only managed episode 1 mate - found it interesting certainly. Sorts of strikes me as lost x american horror story.
Also has anyone watched the Strain?
I have. I hate it and cant stop watching.

Pretty much what Forza said. Whenever they had a choice to make they made sure to do the one nobody else who wanted to accomplish a goal or live wouldve chosen.

Damn thats a shame as overall it looks cool........is it a spin-off from a similar movie?

Oh Man, that Secret Cinema was nuts! a crazy experience... great stuff. thank god you can't record or take pics inside. One Youtube upload and reputations are down the crapper!!
Never seen entourage, but everyone has said i would really love it. just never got round to it.

G Del Toro wrote the 3 book series. I think in theory it was a decent idea but the show has been handled completely wrong. Casting all wrong. Writing all wrong. Some of the costumes
Overall i would say its slightly less idiotic as The Dome which I had to stop watching.

Stringer good to hear you had fun at the Secret Cinema can you spill the beans on what happened there ?
That Kermode review on the Entourage movie is brutal by the way.
That review was hilarious and sounds like it could be better than the movie! Has anyone seen the movie? I have no idea what this Entourage is so excuse my ignorance
Hey Superb, I will give an account of my time there... 6 hrs in total I think it was... just a bit snowed under in Post this week.
the weekend i'll be off so, i'll post then..

I think there's a definite sequel..
Mad Max: The Wasteland.
Interesting you say that Superb. Cos during the PR for the film, I kinda got a cold feeling between the two of them,,
And Hardy then let slip, that he got on 'peoples' nerves as he's a method actor and it caused tension. But at Cannes, it was like Theron and Hardy had to be separated the whole time.... She wouldn't even look at him or stand next to him, unless forced to...
These two need to go again.

Bit late responding to this Stringer, but what is it you do in the world of TV/Film and how did you get in to it?

Just started season 2 of Luther. Amazing. And far more brutal than I'd expect from the BBC.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
over way too soon that show....film in the offing...!?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I really hope so. Crazy that seasons 2 and 3 are only 4 episodes.

Haven't seen any of Luther yet. Will stick it in the to watch queue though.
Anyone seen The Fall?
Hi Melbourne,
Well the short story goes like this...
I'm a Film/TV Video Editor. I Saw an Ad looking for a Runner in a Post Production facility. They trained me up.
15 years later I'm still here working for our oldest client... The House of Mouse.
I've done various stuff but for the last 7 years, most of my work has been re-cutting US Films/TV shows for UK/European TV.
SyFy/NBCUniversal & Disney being the main channels.
(Don't blame Sharknado on me, there's nothing i could do...)
A part of me still wishes i had post my C.V to MUTV, when they were in their infancy just to see what would happen... but i realised, if they hired me, i wouldn't of been professional enough... i'd be crying, tears of joy everyday!!
not a good look.....
Maybe give MUTV a crack now?
Sounds like a great job and career though. I'm looking to change careers myself but thing is, as boring and unfulfilling as my job is it pays really well and with a house being built and a third kid on the way I can't really afford the pay cut a new job/traineeship would entail.
Oh and I get what you mean about tears of joy. I've been looking for jobs at United. Would move back home in a heartbeat if one came along!
I can't complain.. although, there have been a lot of what ifs.. the main ones that stick out are, not joining my 2 mates in Morocco, on a film in 2000.. (The Mummy Returns)
They were hired as Runners, and today one is an Assistant Director.
He's had a stellar career, his IMDB profile is bonkers and not even 35 yet.
and the other became Russell Crowes and NOW Brad Pitts Body Double...
Also not flying off to New York for a WWE Interview.
and MUTV of course... but it is what it is.
I always wanted to be an Editor, and I just had tunnel vision for it..
I have been working nights for a year now, on this big project... but the money talks!
4 days a week. weekends off, for the first time in about 5 years.. but you always want to do more..
and lucky I have a understanding missus, who knew what she was getting involved with, and her support has been immense to me....
though it could be the money as well!... hmmm?!......
Woah, hold on, an interview for WWE? To wrestle or to produce?! Haha.
Do you work much on set or just in post-production? My Dad's a rigger, worked on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Death at a Funeral, Son of Rambo (I also did a day's work on that, setting up a lighting rig outside a church), and a few others as well as commercials and music videos - he worked on Rolling in the Deep and a Kylie one (Two Hearts I think). He's got an IMDB profile too but it doesn't look up to date.
So is that the way to get in to things then, start as a runner? Did you go to film school?
With the Mrs; it's the money mate. While you're sleeping during the day she's spending your heard earned cash! Haha.
