It's pretty simple why Hebdo happened, the magazine drew a cartoon, somebody didn't like it and killed the people responsible. I think we can all see why it happened.
---
Yes, because of insane people believing in fairy tales. Supported by other insane people believing the same fairy tales and willing to down play the severity of it, like you just did
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope I'm not playing down the severity of people dying, thats your job.
I was making a distinction between justifying the killings and understanding the reason behind it.
For example I understand that we went into Iraq for oil but it doesn't justify the killing a raping by soldiers etc
Very simple.

In many Muslim countries Sharia Law prescribes beheading and stoning as punishment. Is that not brutal? Or is your head just that far up your arsè?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
haha I have to chuckle when you call it Sharia Law
Sharia basically means law in Arabic so you don't need to add the extra law on the end.
Unless you want to call it Law Law.
The fact that you don't even know what the word means highlights your ignorance.
Tell me in detail where in the Quran it says those things and in what context then we can have a conversation about.
You talk about brutality but you want the middle-east nuked, you really are a nutcase.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, Sharia.. That's what it prescribes; brutality. Sorry for not speaking your pig latin...
I mean come on.. Blasphemy Laws?? Do you people want to join the 21st Century any time soon? Hell, even the 19th Century would be a step in the right direction.
For example I understand that we went into Iraq for oil but it doesn't justify the killing a raping by soldiers etc

"How is this not a political motivation?"
I'll reiterate, you are confusing motivation with justification. The political motivation is the killing of people from the Middle East. The justification is that they are fellow Muslims.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok a kind of understand where you are coming from but the way I see it is that these events transpired because of political events like war.
Without the wars etc in the middle-east, Lee Rigby would still be a live today.

If you are dumb enough to think they exist in the Quran and in the context that you think they are in because a MAN made it part of the law in a country that he is a dictator of than thats your problem.
Ya know because we all know the dictators and royal families we installed in the middle-east are Muslim role models.

Oh and the illegal execution of a prisoner of war by burning him alive.
But it's our fault about the rise islamaphobia and I don't trust religious types.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When a drone blows up a suspected terrorist, do you consider that an execution?
Without trial and due process, is that consistent with our laws?

Without the wars etc in the middle-east, Lee Rigby would still be a live today."
He probably would, but what I am saying is that you can't just look at the motivation, the justification has to be looked at too. Without the killer interpreting the wars in the middle east as a religious war or interpreting his own actions as justifiable, then he would be alive too.
As the quote I put earlier referred to, it being allowed to turn into a religious debate is equally damaging.
Anyway, is everyone enjoying the sunshine? I'm sat in the garden with my dog and beer. If this carries on I might just cancel my holidays this summer!! MUDD you strike me as the ray bans on chest hair flailing in the wind kinda guy on a day like this?
No because it's a surgical strike against a combatant that's not held in custody and is still actively waging war being covert gorrila or conventional.
Burning a man alive in a cage and filming it is in no way the same and you know it ffs.
A drone strike is The same as any airborne strike by bomb or missile.
