Don't get me wrong either. I'd genuinely love him to stay and help us in the cl. Nothing would beat the sight of him at his best in a cl knock out tie for us battering someone like Bayern.
But he doesn't seem to want to do that for us
If he wants to go then fine, my problem is/are
1) Him leaving makes him more of a flop
2) Calling him more of a flop on the assumption he wants to go (which whilst its looks likely we don't actually know the facts for certain)

Not even close to our biggest flop. He was key to us getting top 4

Again, you're not understanding the point being made. He had a poor season. Was bought for a huge amount of money. Wants to leave after one season. All of these things make him a huge flop.
A poor first season doesn't make someone a flop. If they stay and fight and improve in their second season - like ADM might have been able to do had he stayed.
But by leaving so soon after signing and with plenty of doubts over just how much effort he put into his first season he's quite rightly classed as a flop.
Blind and Valencia as fullbacks, Rooney in midfield, RvP marginalised and happy to leave, Falcao dysfunctional and left, DiMaria on the bench and floppy the majority of the time.......
Is it possible that LvG is the problem? Does this harm his reputation as the white Mourinho?

No he wasn't. Beating spurs, Liverpool and City were the key games in us getting top 4. And he didn't start any of them

A player wanting out doesn't affect whther he was a flop or not...
For example Ronaldo and De Gea both wanted out, but that doesn't make them any less star performers than they were.

Surely that makes him an even bigger genius if as you say he was hamstringing the team so much (but still achieved his targets)

Ones that want out after one (poor) season are.
Bye bye Angel.
Januzaj, Wilson and Pereira to be promoted.
Anyone know a good link I can watch series from. Banshee in particular, I'm in the UK
A player wanting out jst means they don't really like something about the place or the club or are more attracted by somewhere else...
A player playing badly makes them a flop.
Not sure how we can even bring timeframe into it, if anything considering the limited timeframe ADM had at United that actually goes in his favour against him being a flop rather than extra evidence of him being a flop.

This usually works for me, when you click on the episode select the links from the bottom of the page as these are the newest ones.
ADM was brought in at great cost to be an instant success. The very definition of a ready made signing. In reality he had a poor season and was benched (when fully fit) for 3 months during the most important part of the season.
Less than 11 months after signing he's being sold with United hardly fighting to keep him.
That my friend is after flop.
Shít not available through Sky, any others?
The timeframe makes him less of a flop not more so.

No, quite the opposite. He's off after 11 months. If this happened to city or Liverpool you'd be the first to call the player a flop. You sound like a guy who refuses to accept we can make mistakes in the market. This one was a big mistake.

It doesn't make logical sense, that's my only problem with it.
The timeframe if anything makes him less of a flop not more so, got to let your person bias go here Robb.
United fans bitter over their best player ever leaving them. Just let him go, if a bigger and better club are after him you cannot keep him against his will. He wants to compete for the top honours, not just the 4th place trophy.
Good luck ADM.
