Im just glad he stayed a Wolves player. Championship teams need a "feisty one" and whilst he is not overly aggressive he is strong in the tackle. Also scores the odd goal or two and not lacking in ability. In a team that is so young we need players who are not easily intimidated.

There was a suggestion on MolMox <spit> to adapt the old Craddock song for Stearman. Now he has been sold maybe we could give it to Dave but with a few adjustments. Instead of "he used to be shy t, but now he's alright" we could go with "he used to be shy t, and still he divides opinions massively with many people not realising the contribution he makes to the team and others over-praising him which is a completely understandable considering the unwarranted criticism he receives on internet forums".

Perton makes very valid points. Unfortunately there are those that could see no wrong in what was happening and that it would all come good in the end. Fact of the matter is, it WAS going downhill very fast and maybe could have been avoided had something been down well before it did.
