It doesn't have any effect at all Cyp. But the guy was sacked a long time ago, but there are still those on here who try and compare him to what's going on now and whether KJ can emulate what others have done.

The mere mention of his name causes friction on here and I believe that it's done on purpose to stir up trouble. You have you opinion about MM and so do others, but it's not right to call someone an idiot just because you don't agree with him.

I certainly don't call perton an idiot because I disagree with him. I call him an idiot due to his idiotic comments, his lack of English comprehension and spelling, his foolish name-calling and his daft use of "Mr Jackett" when referring to our current manager as some sort of deference in comparison to the use of "muppet" for McCarthy.

Apart from that, I think he's a valued contributor.

You guys can mock all you want, we have been on an upward curve since Kenny arrived, that is undeniable.

Will it continue?

We don't yet know, but until Kenny begins to fail there isn't any point rubbishing our progress.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It isn't a case of rubbishing them Cinci its just a case of preserving a sense of perspective. He did as well as anyone could have done in Div3 but last season was solid rather than inspiring and personally I think we'll see more of the same for as long as he is with us. He is a good, solid, competent manger and a perfect fit for a good, solid, competent Championship team.

Answer this honestly though - if you had to risk a £1000 of your own money on Jackett getting us into the Prmeier League at any point before the fans and/or board get fed up with solid and he goes or bet £1000 on him never managing us in the top flight where would you put your money?

Cyp. We're 5 games into a season and just got over what must have been harrowing times within the club with regard to possible transfers, coupled with all the rumours of players leaving. That would have upset the dressing room I'm sure.

But that's all over now and hopefully KJ and the squad can get down to the business of improving our position in the table. Hopefully with 3 points on Saturday.

I am reading that contractual talks will be starting soon with regard to players who are out of contract at the end of this season.

He didn't do as well as anyone could do at all.

He did the best anyone has ever done.

And last season it took a record points haul to miss a play off.

We have had two very positive seasons, now lets see what this season brings, it is five games old, give it a chance.

If I had to bet one way or the other then I would bet on Kenny at the moment tats.

Our future is very bright, the concern is the clubs ambition moreso than what Kenny can achieve.

It's ridiculous to think that the name of someone connected to the club should "cause friction", especially one who gave the club a title win, promotion, and years in the top flight.

And it's also obvious that fans will want KJ to emulate MM and win the division - (something Mick's already done twice), or failing that, to copy Dave Jones, and go up via a runners-up spot.

I certainly don't want KJ to emulate Hoddle, or McGhee, or Colin Lee, or any of the others who tried and failed, however nice they were as people.

I hope we get three points as well, but that doesn't mean that our start to the season has been average at best, it doesn't improve our 7th place last season and we will still be in the second tier at 5pm on Saturday, 3 points or not.
You rejoice if you want to, but I see that as average.

That's because you don't see where we have come from cyp.

Totally off topic but can I just say a big "well done" to all the Wolves fans taking part in KoP! Cinci 2nd, AJ joint 3rd and even I have snuck into the top 10 showing that (with the odd exception) we're a very knowledgeable bunch

Someone else was giving regular updates on the KoP standings earlier in the season. Any idea why they stooped?

Well deserved. I must say that I am also glad that James Henry is still a Wolves player. Good attitude.

Can anyone tell me the words to the James Henry chant please. Its the only one that I cant make out what the South Bank are singing.

Stearman says he wasn't forced out and he's touched by the affection shown by the true Wolves supporters who rated him.

It's a United/Rooney song...
I saw my mate the other day
He said to me he saw the white Pele
So I asked who is he?
He goes by the name of James Henry
James Henry, James Henry
He goes by the name of James Henry

to an old Ska tune the name of which escapes me.

Thats the one Tatter

And yes, now I know how it goes, embarrassing.

Im just glad he stayed a Wolves player. Championship teams need a "feisty one" and whilst he is not overly aggressive he is strong in the tackle. Also scores the odd goal or two and not lacking in ability. In a team that is so young we need players who are not easily intimidated.

Henry was our best player through August for sure.

motm in two of the five games, the ones we actually won.
