What this revisionary horse crap you coming out with.
Not one person has backed Kennedy and just like that Post Office CEO, should be put on the stand and questioned aboot her incompetence of failing the most beloved movie franchise.
And you should be questioned too, slating others for watching Star Wars content while at the same time claiming to be a fan.
You talking from both sides of yer mouth you fraud...
but that’s ok, cos I’m aboot to ram my boot both sides of yer ass!!

I have never slandered SW in any way, so proceed to wash your mouth out with blueys milk.

I simply remain sceptical over anything that they produce. Is that unpalatable, considering what they have done with the recent shows? I have been one of the biggest advocates for shows like CW and Andor, so I'd suggest you know your role and shut that sarlacc pit of a mouth.

If you want to get all excited for Acolytes based on seeing a few lightsabers in a trailer, feel free to do so but I will not give in to Kennedy's trickery and I will carry the torch for a better and brighter future for SW, whilst you languish in mediocrity they have delivered.

Need I remind you, it was I, who led this thread to be number 1. Whilst you were visiting other tea house threads, I was dedicating my time to this one. That is why you remain a padawan and will always be doomed to fail.

I think the Acolyte looks abysmal!

It looks well over produced, corny and like a rich boys fan fiction.

They all look like actors on sets and none of the trailers so far look genuine for me

Shogun was very mature and was aimed at adults, the sets, the design, the writing and production was phenomenal!!

However it did lack action, I know it's not the point of it, however it needed at least a battle imo

I disagree.

From the first episode or two, you can tell it's a story heavy show. I went in expecting big scale battles but quickly recalibrated those expectations after the opening episodes. The fact that crimson sky was an infiltration job and not a full scale invasion was the final nail in that idea. I liked how they ended it, as it felt in line with how the show had gone.

I hope not. The show never relied on the action. It was built on the characters and writing.

yeah but as much as it didnt rely on it, doesnt mean it cannot be improved on by including it.

Based on the CGI in the final episode, I don't see it improving anything.

I think the final battle would translate better in a movie format.

No point watching it now considering Stringer has managed to spoil it for me on the Star Wars thread of all places

yes but given its success the budgets would be better and that could easily be improved on. The last episode screamed budget cutting.

Reserving judgement.

Didn't think Andor, for example, would be great when it was announced but it turned out to be excellent.
