It's a close call between Mando season 2 and Andor season 1, for me.

Not sure about Acolyte. Will watch for sure but no idea what to expect.

The theme could be REALLY interesting or it could just be them absolutely fluffing the established lore.

Some of the visuals look great, some look like a high quality fan film.

The time period the Acolyte is set in, is perfect. Hundreds of years before Phantom Menace and the skywalker saga. Let's see how they handle such a wide and open sandbox.

I’m relatively optimistic. Apparently the budget was sizeable, it’s a new timeframe so they’re not bound by that much in terms of canon and it’s being pitched as a SW who-done-it / mystery; all sounds good.

Admittedly when SW has done mystery in the past it’s tended to focus too much on location (flying from place to place) rather than intrigue but it’s SW so of course I’m going to be optimistic!

This what I think, even though I can understand why they didn't.

However all this talk of war, building armies, Super cool samurais and everything being at stake frustrated me a fair bit when I realised that there wouldn't be any real action.

If it had 20% more action, then I would rate it a 8.5 to a 9, but instead I rate it a 7.5 to a 8.

I disagree.

Casual fans just want to see Jedi and the Sith fighting with lightsabers. The more invested fans can watch shows that are outside of those two main themes.

So, what’s the deal with Furiosa bombing.. it’s a bloody fantastic film. It left me wanting more stories being told.
Furiosa is a great addition to that universe, her characters trajectory is on par with Sarah Connor and Ripley.
However I think there’s more to it than people just not going to the cinema.
My Cinema showing was packed though… I am stunned that it’s flopping.

Modern society unfortunately - it's always someone else's fault.

Hire people who have never watched Star Wars to write - fans fault the show flopped

Take the best character in SW and make it about a little girl - obviously it's the fault of men that the show tanked

SW has been managed as well as Chelsea under Darth KKs reign - the sooner she is gone the better, but let's hope it's not a DEI hire who takes over!
