Best episode so far, still some clunky dialogue and questionable decisions but it felt more like SW than it has so far.

Frustrating ending, they're doing a bad job with the flow and pacing of the show.

Score out of 10?

Probably still only somewhere around a 7, it's really hard to say when it's so fresh though and without knowing how it ties in to the overall story.

Frustrating episode.

Quite good but just as gets interesting it ends.

The Acolyte Ep 4. 6/10. And I’m being nice.

Visually this Ep is better than Ep 3... and... er visually it’s better then Ep 3. But there are still major issues and clunky dialog.
But there’s a little rey of light, so.. Ep 5, better be a banger!

On no….no no no… they can’t be so stupid.

The Acolyte Ep 4 - 5/10

Now what I’ve learned, is that the director discovered a way to tell this story halfway through filming. Which tells me that the Editors while putting the Episodes together discovered there were holes all over the place, so they cheekily adopted a solution whereby we the viewer decide what we are seeing… the Roshomon effect.

Interpretations can differ there’s no wrong or right answer. My problem with this, Roshomon was deliberately filmed this way.
And while I understand during the filming process, Directors do discover things, and change up, but the episodes we’ve had so far, are just flat out boring.

And no, that isn’t the stupid thing I’m going on aboot.
That, I will reveal on Saturday…. maybe Friday.

If England don’t win, then Thursday after the game!

Interesting ending to the episode, but I've seen fan films with better production value than this show.

This episode was the first one that I didn't feel like I was watching a fan film, can't tell if it was cos it was better or because I'd gotten used to it.

Have a feeling it's a mix of both (used to Coruscant and Khobar look alright?)

I still hold that a lot of it feels like cutscenes from a game.

Shame as I do like the main character and Sol.

Yeah it does, but part of that may also be down to the story as opposed to the production. We're basically watching the lead up bits of a game to stuff happening for the player, without actually really getting anything big happening at the end.

I dunno, there was enough in this episode to not write it off. I saw one of the writers responding to comments on twitter too and seems like its been a bit chopped up outside of their control to meet runtimes and stuff.
