That's great Tez...we only need another 81 points from 41 games..that'll be 20 wins and 21 draws ...doesn't sound too impossible....does it ??

Knowing town they will leave the need to win 20 games till the last 20 games tho .

It wouldn't be as fun supporting Town if we did things the easy way, half the magic is in the constant worrying, cold sweats and nail biting!

I think we'll win tomorrow, just because Oldham are terrible, from the reports I've read they're just a team of thugs and we should have the ability this season to stand up to them and keep playing our football. We got dragged into 2 slugfests against them last season so hopefully Clark will have learned his lesson and will make sure the lads stick to the task and avoid any t|t for tat scenario.

Great guide on the day out Tez, top work mate. I'd add a place I like to visit, it's going away from the ground walking down the main road towards McDonalds, turn right down one of the estates and there's a lovely little pub there - don't know the name though.

last season we won 25 games so winning another 20 could easily be done
we drew 12 games and lost 9 gaining 87 points , if we can win the same and turn a few of those losses into draws we'll be promoted

Anyone know how many of the 3,600 tickets we've sold. I read tonight it is pay on the day ...
It's a pity all these local derbies are so early on, because if we'd played them later we'd have a bigger following and they'd realise they are all mid table dross and not fight as hard, in theory anyway.

Hope that hasn't put the kiss of death on it....

i think i saw somehwere that is was about 1500 tickets sold, but with it being pay on the day i'm sure we'll take twice that number as some people will be waiting until they get paid today i'm sure

1700 sold so far but its pay on the day too,so that should boost the following a little.

He showed us what he thinks of Clark's efforts to date.

He gave him a rolling contract and sod-all money for transfers. I suspect he slso pulled the plug on Kilbane and his big wages, who I'm sure Elsie would have wanted back.

no money for transfers ...your completely right there Cryer
cos you know Ward, Mcdermott, Woods, Robinson, Johnson, Miller and Gobern cost absolutley nowt

Having witnessed towns worst performance of last season away to Oldham, I was in 2 minds whether to go tomorrow. In recent years some dismal games at boundary park.
I remember the gloom of leaving the ground on a cold and rainy saturday teatime 3/4 years ago after a 4 - 1 thumping, having seen Matt Glennon get abused by some town fans, then other town fans stick up for him, then a fight between them which I even saw Robbie Williams pull Matt Glennon away from a baying croud.
That was one of the very few games in which I left early. And if I remember rightly, so did Andy Richie....
So to all the town fans who were there that day, tomorrow is a day to lift the lads and dish out an over due trouncing to make up for that, and a few other poor performances at Boundary Park...

Nice to see the Ossett Gob is talking tripe as usual.

Cryer, Are you always this stupid, or are you making a special effort today? - you are the kind of man you would want to use as a blueprint to build an idiot and I don't know what makes you so stupid, but it really works.

If ignorance is bliss, you must be the happiest person on Earth.

btw tez it's 5 skarz from me.. well done on nice piece of informative edit...

on another note;
What has happened to the railways around Oldham????
They have 5 stations and 4 of them are shut due to up grades???
Mill hill is the only station any where near the ground, but that is 2 miles away...

Oldham is falling apart, just like it's football ground. Mind you we were saying this stuff last year, and then they beat us up on the field...

they certainly outplayed and outfought us last year..but we had two very, very acceptable chances in the second half..
its that type of league im afraid..
im hoping we try and play tommorow rather than sit back and try to sneak something..
