I heard he mainly plays central?
I've seen him play a fair few times and I would say he is at least one rung on the ladder below the required standard. Hope he proves me and everyone else wrong though, if we do indeed get him.

Another big risk. Why don't we just pay and try and get Moura or Griezmann
He fell out with the manager and doesn't seem to want to play for him.
Isn't that a worry when we have a manager who his own mother could fall out with.

Not replacing him was poor from Van Gaal. Or if you point to Martial, not bringing in another striker as well. We did lose 3 in the summer.
He was banking on Rooney I think who has been poor !
I still feel we need a quality winger,striker and an attacking midfielder. Add to that a CB and possible keeper replacement in the summer then we need to splash the cash big time.
Would love it if we expand OT to 85k+
I'd love Anderson. A great talent.

Why would pundits want to "troll" Van Gaal? Maybe Nicholas is right. Forget last season: we are where we are and right now it's on a par with the Moyes season.
Griezmann isn't going to leave Atleti for us midseason.
Moura may be a different matter if he wants to play more games from the start. Still seems unlikely.
