Poch did what he felt is right in the long run for the club. He gave much needed minutes to squad players and we are still in the cup. What side we play in replay we should cross that bridge when it comes.

I have been saying we need a decent second keeper for ages though. I agree that vorm is nonsense and if anything happens to Hugo we might as well pack up and go home as it will be season over

Also sandy the squad players ain't all that because they never play. They are so rusty. Chadli was a top player for us last season and this season he looks like he cannot trap a ball. ... Why do you think that is? Is he suddenly not good ?

If it was up to you we wouldn't have a squad we could release ten players and cut the wage bill by about 40%

Of course then we would be absolutely faaaccked in every competition we play in

If Spurs don`t play as near full strength as possible in the replay then they will go out. The squad players are next to useless when the all play together, and never win any games.

Keep playing the squad players, and Spurs will not be in any competition to get feccccked. You just still do not get that our squad players as a collection are very, very poor. Put the odd one in the first XI, and they are not too bad, put them all in the same team, and they very rarely, if ever win any game.

Need Mouse back asap. Look at the positives. Still in the cup and unbeaten in 2016

Surely that depends on what side lesta play? You are basically just making things up and attempting to pass them off as fact. Luckily I am here to pull you up on it

As usual sandy you have missed the point about having a squad , squad management , prioritising, and sensible rotation. You just cannot grasp it

As I have said time and time again, the greatest manager of the modern era - Ferguson, constantly rotated his sides, and it resulted in a match fit squad that served them well.

If a team of squad players was as good as the first team then we would either have a rubbish first team or too much quality in the squad to avoid rotation every week.

One of the purposes of the squad is to bring the young players through gradually so they develop into first team players. Today was one of those opportunities.

United had a better squad than Spurs have, that could possible be the reason it worked for Fergie. I could be persuaded possibly about rotation if Spurs actually got results with squad players, but they never do. Today was a total nonsense really, because instead of easing the fixture congestion, there is now another game to play. I am almost 99 per cent certain that had Poch played a strong side, then the game would have been done and dusted.

Bar wimmer, Vorm & Onomah all them player have been considered first X1 players for us

Disagree sandy, Leicester defended very deep and we have struggled all season to get results against these sorts of teams. No guarantee at all the result would have been better

Surely that depends on what side lesta play?

Leicester could play their youth team, and they would still beat a Spurs team filled with squad players. They did it last year, and they will probably finish the job of on their home patch this year, unless Poch ups the ante and starts with near on a full team.

Sandy won't understand this very simple concept. Nor will weare I suspect

The same way some of the Spurs squad players are passengers, those two are passengers on these boards

Spurs scored two goals, had Lloris, Verts, Walker and Davies been anywhere near the back four, very doubtful Leicester would have been gifted their two goals today, the way Spurs defended both those goals was championship standard at best.

Both there goals were down mostly to Toby so are you saying he's a championship standard?

And we've still struggled to break down teams with all of them in the first team

The need for another striker in Kane`s absence was highlighted even more today, Son is not a CF

Yes we need a striker. And then if sandy had his way he would never Ever play as there is no need for rotation ever

Not the end of the world for Spurs, squad workout against a tough Leicester side and still in the cup. Entertaining from a neutral perspective too

As long as he has a sensible haircut sandy will be fine. Apparently that's the sign of a poor player

Every time we have this argument whenever we play a weakened team and lose or don't win. You can't not give your reserve side a chance.

Part of what has made Poch a good manager with us, is that he's given some of the fringe players a chance like Mason, Carroll, Dembele and Kane were fringe players at one point.
