Here is Ted to drop the average iq down a bit
What did I say that was wrong. Sandy doesn't believe in rotation ever so what's the point in another striker.
In sandys world we only need about 14 players per season

Every time we have this argument whenever we play a weakened team and lose or don't win. You can't not give your reserve side a chance.
Part of what has made Poch a good manager with us, is that he's given some of the fringe players a chance like Mason, Carroll, Dembele and Kane were fringe players at one point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly.
And now the next crop - trippier onomah
Then it will be Carter vickers and winks etc etc
Poch has got it spot on
Well said Ted. Us older members would sooner play strong teams and be in a competition, than the Chronic way of playing weakened teams and getting dumped out.#]
Arsenal at home being one cup disaster, today Spurs were a minute from another home disaster in a cup competition. Last season Spurs lost at home in the cup at the first hurdle. Recurring theme here. Mass rotation don`t fecking work.
Basically if we played Lloris & Kane all the moaners would be happy with that
Chronic, I agree with you that the FA Cup is only a third tier priority. Poch should play a weakened team in the replay.
The fact is, we're not going to be as successful as people think even if we were to play our strongest team every game, and it's also not like we don't have some quality in our reserve side either.
Sandy and weare throwing a tantrum because poch had the audacity to not play Kane
And then when he burnt out in March they would be on here fuming
When I saw the two goals they scored, I got the idea that Pochettino didn't really want to win this one.
Must have changed his mind at the last moment ..... but now he's got an extra game to fit in the schedule.
I want us to focus on the Premiership .... we could get close to arsenal, maybe even win it.

I think we are entitled to moan if it is apparent that mass rotation is always a failure. To keep being handed home ties is like a god send in cup football, and each and every time Spurs blow the opportunity to progress, by picking these weakened teams.
Frankly I would just as soon Spurs withdrew from the cup competitions if they are not going to take ALL of them seriously from the off.
I hope the same people who think we shouldn't rotate are not asking for us to sign a back up striker for Kane, because when would he get the chance to play if Kane is who they want up front all the time?
Spurtle. What is annoying me about sandy and weare is that despite me telling them over and over again, they seem too thick to be able to understand that actually want to do well in the cup and I am pleased that we are still in it. However i just would prefer to do better in other competitions which I feel are more important for the club and squad at this stage of our development (young side about to move into a new stadium, and bigger clubs inevitably trying to pick off our best players, and possibly our manager)
Sandy and weare need to move with the times and accept that fa cups are no longer what will keep top players at a club. They want CL football and titles. And the thing is that CL football and titles is actually possible for us - if we are sensible about how we manage the squad
Sandy could you tell me your strongest X1 right now (Dembele, Mason & Njie out injured so can't pick them)

Kane is a player that looks like he could play every minute of every game every season. You don`t see Messi being rested, he plays in every game on offer, other than he odd games he is injured. Some players can do it. And if they are up for it, just play them. All this burn out nonsense Chronic goes on about is what it says total and utter nonsense.

We all want Spurs to do well. Believe me though, they're not going to win the quadruple by playing the strongest team available every game. They won't do that playing the reserve sides in cup matches either. We could probably achieve a couple if we prioritise however.

We weren't great today but I'm afraid Sandy is wrong when he says Son and Chadli aren't good enough to be first team players.
Son isn't a striker and was played out of position today, he started his spurs career superbly after excelling in the Bundesliga but unfortunately his injury has hampered him. He is at his best playing in the attacking three behind Kane and I'm certain he will go on to prove what a top player he is.
Regarding Chadli, he is rusty at the moment but lets not forget his contribution last season. He is a good player.
Carroll won't be playing when Dembele returns thats for sure but he is good enough to bring into the spurs team. He is a squad player who has been playing well recently.

So if all the above are fit then you should never name anyone else in your preferred 11 - as if you did you would be rotating and therefore a hypocrite
Sizzle, you are one of the sensible posters on here. Full strength is the way forward. Feck this rotation malarkey, it is a modern thing, that always backfires. Surprised managers have not sussed it out yet.

What a clown, who said anything about comparing Kane to Messi, I just posted that both are capable of playing in every game. Is that comparing quality?
