Reserve GK should play regular U21 football to keep match sharp
If we'd gone 'strong' today, and won, then got beat on Wednesday by a fresh and rested Leicester XI, the same people moaning today would be moaning on Wednesday.
The defence today including the keeper would probably improve given a few more games. After you've had the same defence for a while and then make a few changes for one game, it's understandably outside of all their comfort zones and they make mistakes.
But it is annoying just how vulnerable we look when we do make those changes for a game. I always expect us to leak a goal or 2, and we do.
If today was the first time you'd watch spurs this season you would of thought Wimmer had been playing all season and Toby was the young player starting just his 3rd game for us.

Seems to be a lot of disagreement going on here.
Basic question is .... do we have the squad to play in 3 competitions?
A lot of today's players have come in for harsh criticism .... not good enough.
So the answer seems to be .... NO, we don't.
If that answer is correct, then we should probably throw the FA tin pot competition and focus on the Prem and the Euros.
But Poch seems to have decided at the last moment not to do that.
So... those of you who don't like them had better get used to seeing ... Chadli, Eriksen, Trippier, Worm, Wimmer, Onomah, and Son on the pitch again. Soon.
But not in the League games.
The reason our 'rotated' team barely win is they're rarely as fit as they should be.
I'm a massive Poch fan, but we can all pretty much name our starting side for league games and his first sub is generally around 75min mark..followed by a couple more in quick succession.
That's not a lot of minutes for those rotated to keep fit.
Yeah Wimmer looked decent, and Aldy had a below par game defensively. I guess Aldy has become so accustomed to Verts and vice versa that you take one of them away and the other looks off their game.
Sand....i was rooting for ya until ya called sizz a sensible poster.....

More a case of not sharp enough for me......squad players just look a yard or so off.
Coupled with tobys first dodgy game.....no real back striker and we looked flat and void of ideas going forward.
Toby really does miss Verts. They're a team now.
Leicester were robbed by an awful referee and dodgy penalty decision although young Bruce Forsyth tucked it away nicely .
Spurs defence will mean no silverware for a long time.
Can we now agree that Spurs' squad isn't actually that great?
We've been hearing all season how your squad is so much superior to ours and in return, I've alluded to the fact that our squad is a lot better than people give us credit for!
So we've now seen our second XI and a few changes for Spurs with the big guns coming on and I think it's fair to say it was very evident yesterday that we do have a better squad depth than people think!
Told you i wasn't talking rubbish
If you watched the game objectively, and get away from the scoreline up until the end, Spurs were comfortably the better side overall.
If we lined up exactly the same way - but with Lloris, not Vorm - I'd be confident if a win in the replay

When we win on Wednesday, and put ourselves right in the title mix, I'll be quite happy.
Happier than I was with the drab 0-0 at home to Chelsea

How can they be proved to be wrong, when the benefits are only to be felt at the end of the season?
