Kane is a player that looks like he could play every minute of every game every season. You don`t see Messi being rested, he plays in every game on offer, other than he odd games he is injured. Some players can do it. And if they are up for it, just play them. All this burn out nonsense Chronic goes on about is what it says total and utter nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but Sandy, Barcelona is a different kettle of fish, where the pressure to win things is greater than at Spurs. Plus Barcelona are full of quality and could cope better without Messi than we could without Kane.
You said messi plays every game ( he doesn't btw) so Kane should be able to
Think before you post sandy you balloon
I think we can all safely say that hueng min Son will never be a striker. Play him in his position as a wide forward and we will see the best of him. Play him in a position he clearly dosen't feel comfortable in then we won't see his full potential. This whole square pegs in round hole boll*** is really getting on my nerves. Harry Kane don't play and we have no one.get a f*** striker in spurs ffs!!!!!

Spurs scored two goals, had Lloris, Verts, Walker and Davies been anywhere near the back four, very doubtful Leicester would have been gifted their two goals today, the way Spurs defended both those goals was championship standard at best.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For once I totally agree with Sandy, take their first goal today - the one that got them back in it.....
If Dier was playing he'd have never given away that sloppy corner instead of a throw.
If Alderweireld was playing he would have never lost the Leicester player so easily from the resulting corner.

No point don. Sandy never wants to rotate so Kane would play 90mins of every game anywys.
The new striker would be a bench warmer and never play.

LLoris
Walker
Vertonghen
Toby
Davies
Dier
Lamela
Eriksen

Son
Kane

Thanks sandy. Noted
So if all the above are fit then you should never name anyone else in your preferred 11 - as if you did you would be rotating and therefore a hypocrite
Well if Spurs get dumped out at Leicester, then that team will more or less, other than when Dembele is fit, have to see the season out. Poch aint going to be rotating in prem games, and will go full strength from hereon home and away in the Europa.
So you won`t be seeing much more of your beloved rotation Chronic old boy.
Toby was at fault for both goals, and I'm pretty sure he's a 1st team regular.
Chronic, so you are in agreement with me that you will be pi*** off if spurs don't sign a striker?

He was playing with clowns in the back four today, and the goalie, WTF is he all about. He cost Spurs last season in the cup, and was badly at fault for the second goal today. He frightens the life out of me. Come back Hugo.

Okay very good line up in which 4 players started today.
So there other 7 players 4 of them under Poch have all been first choice at some stage ( Trippier, Carroll, Chadli, Rose ) so it was hardly a poor selection.
My first x1 would be
Lloris
Walker Toby Verts Rose
Dier Alli
Lamela Eriksen Son
Kane
5 of today's starting X1 and 2 others that came on.

Would take that if we won't the Prem . Funny thing is so would you !
Anyway why would playing an alternative player to Kane mean that we are going to lose all our games ? The whole point is we buy someone good. Not some random guy who is playing Sunday league pub football
Absolutely clueless ain't ya sandy ?!
Kane was costing us at the start of the season. That's when another striker and rotation would have come in handy.

Not saying none of today`s team have not played before. But the point I am trying to make is that whenever Spurs make wholesale changes they never ever win. So what is the point. Other teams seem to do it, and get results, but for some reason Spurs just never do.
You don`t seriously think I would be on here arguing if I thought mass rotation was a great success. The reason I moan about it is because it is a fecking disaster 24/7 when Spurs do it.
If any poster can tell me of any recent Spurs team of squad players that has had a good win against half decent opposition, then I will bow to their greater knowledge, because I cannot remember any time recently when they have won games.
Right that`s it for the evening, I am going to try to get a ticket for the Replay so at least I can see the First Team play in a cup game again.

Sandy,
What I'm trying say is that pretty much 90% of our players are technically squad players.
Lloris, Verts, Toby, Dier, Kane are the only real first 11 players the rest are all interchangeable.
Only player that didn't need to be rested was Lloris as Vorm is a joke and GK hardly get tired do they.
Sandy how come just about every single manager rotates then? Are they all wrong?

Vorm didn't used to be a bad keeper though. He's got a lot worse since he came to Spurs and stopped getting regular game time.
That's the problem for reserve keepers, they just don't get enough minutes to gain form or confidence
