I hope to get 0 minors and pass with no driving faults but most likely I will get at least 8 minors and maybe 2 or 3 dangerous or serious faults. I probably will brick it test day that I drive so bad to how I normally drive. Its all about the mentality and maybe who the test examiner is and a bit of luck like no crazy lunatic driving nearby that cuts across.
I have taken 62 hours of lessons I should have taken test 2 months ago but instructor said to book for October
Just practice some more you loon. Its a piece of piiss. Bore the driving examiner with some irrelvant Utd stats or something.

Mr Chelsea worrying thing was I probably was a better driver after 10 lessons then I am now although I have greater knowledge of most situations and how to do things properly. The question is will I execute it.
I have taken 31 lessons and started nearly 10 months ago. To be honest I should have booked my test for August. I have learnt hardly anything since.
The way I see it more lessons=more experience=better in long run and if you pass it costs so much money to insure a car so I am getting experience.
Hafi you'll end up like Maureen from the BBC and have to take the test in automatic if you don't sort the nerves out and pass soon.
Just remember your procedures and drive normal. Hands on wheel, check mirror every few seconds, indicate etc. That's it.
Keep looking in the mirrors like a lunatic Hafi. This will help. Also try not to run someone over - that doesn't tend to go down well.
Its my first driving test so will go calm and remember what instructor taught me. To be honest last lesson on Wednesday I learnt a lot for first time in a long time like parking into a bay as in looking to lines on outside to see where front of the car is compared to that. Also seeing side mirrors so that tyres look like they are past the line when they are not. That will help for parking into a bay.
I know you have to have car pretty much half way a long side fron window for line on car park before you steer quickly right before straightening up when you are level with bay.
One thing I might struggle is speed limits

My favourite part of driving is the emergency stop. Reminds me of Grand Turismo brake test and most easiest thing to execute.
Ace talking of lunatics I remember going slow for first time in a while after it was green and then some car came from a road that had red lights most likely and zoomed past at probably 70mph through red lights. Worrying thing is I normally drive quite fast but this time because I wasn't 100% sure if cars were coming from right I was more cautious. Good job I was otherwise that would have been an almighty crash. Even instructor thought that person was a crazy lunatic and that I followed the traffic light signals properly.

...
Honestly though I don't get how people pass with 0 minors, must be blowies involved.
I think its all about mentality. To be honest I find driving generally easy. The maneuvers can be a bit hit and miss so I hope it all goes well. I will concentrate the most on test day. Normally I don't concentrate that hard on lessons but try to pick up new information as in types of situations involved in.
I hate it when people go in first lane when you are entering dual carriageway so now I go slower so I don't run out run off space before joining dual carriageway and that way you can see behind without going at to much speed.

What? You drove for two hours without getting out of first gear? Who was your instructor Mr facking Bean?
On the day of his test Hafi will have a record amount of touches in his half of the car, bore his examiner to tears, fail, then compared to all the other people that pass that afternoon he will be by far the best driver but also the unluckiest.
.....
We shall see this Wednesday if you are partly right.
Good luck Hafi. Just relax and don't fack it up...
Good luck hafi, don't let us down

Pretty sure steering with your pinky would be a failure here.
Wednesday 12th and at 12.38pm to be precise.
I think I shall get a Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SRI 59 plate or better with 99bhp as my first car. Something cheap and cheerful. I liked the Corsa I drove but it lacked power as I think it was a low bhp 1.2. Group 8 insurance won't be to high.
