Not to worry haf, at least you've had the test experience now.
To be honest I think the test is easy to pass now. Just make sure you are in the right lane. I knew that roundabout was a bit iffy as well as it didn't feel right when I went straight ahead but didn't know they fail you.
I knew all the other roundabouts as in which lane to be in like right for right turn or first left is one left lane. Only one 1 messed up and I fail. I had turn in the road at end of test and reverse around a corner and I think that was it. Don't remember doing an emergency stop but my mind has gone fuzzy since I was told I failed and then for the reason they gave when I was expecting for slowing down a vehicle at a roundabout it was instead later on roundabout
If only that examiner didn't notice I would have passed. Its amazing first 10 minutes of exam I was so nervous and after relaxed. I couldn't find the window opening button for some reason so was hot. I didn't want to press a button that failed me though. Weird when I drove to Peterborough test centre I found it easily and it was hammering it down with rain at 11.58. I drove perfect all the way to test center and then after that drove really bad for 10 minutes before driving well.
I think I can pass with no minors sion as I got 2 minors for observation at junctions and 2 for appropriate speed and 1 for undue esiation I think was leaving test center. 1 for steering in control and 1 for reverse left. I think that is 7 minors actually.
The irony is if I didn't follow the instruction of straight ahead and accidentally took 3rd exit I would have passed
Its amazing to fail for something so minor. I saw quite a few people driving wrecklessly today when going to test center and I failed for something so small. 3 times going to test center someone wrongly pulled out on me. It was insane especially 1 of them. I was going slow just incase someone from left side turned into road and if I decided to accelerate to 30 I would have t-boned him.
Sorry Hafi. I had meetings all day. Couldn't make the live thread.
Just as well though
What happened man.. Told you to stop faffing around with man Utd stats and practice your driving.
I drove ok just did a mistake I have never done before. I did 2 roundabouts perfectly but 3rd and last one I failed on To be honest if I was on left lane I would have passed or if I kept in 2nd lane but took 3rd exit I would have passed even though he said straight ahead taking the next one due to being in wrong lane I would have passed Following instructions but in wrong lane failed me
Worst part is a lot of roundabouts you can go straight ahead in 2nd lane of roundabout but this one was only right turn.
Haha I knew he'd fail, one less donkey on the road is a positive at least.
I was one small decision away from passing. I failed for 2 seconds worth of driving. If I went 3rd exit I would have passed.
Talking of donkeys if I wasn't so expert at driving then I would have crashed 3 times as 3 people pulled out on my right of way when I was going to test centre before test. The fact I have quick reaction times and good speed I was lucky. The 3rd one was insane as the person pulled out just as I was going to go past him. I actually thought this person might pull out from side road as their are drivers that are wreckless, what was more amazing is he did it so close to when I was reaching. I normally would have accelerated in that road more but I kept it at 24mph in 30mph road and that saved me

Yes and you could quite easily have been one small decision (or 2 seconds away) from killing another motorist. The rules of the road (and the markings) are there for a reason.
Another driver seeing you in a right-turn-only lane would be right to expect you to turn right. If they pulled out from the first exit turning left into the second exit, who would be to blame for the ensuing collision?
Were you indicating at any point while negotiating the roundabout?
Yes I indicated to go off straight ahead.
I also checked mirrors and their was no car around.
A lot of roundabouts you can go straight ahead on 2nd lane but this one you couldn't. Luck of the draw.
That may be so but a big part of driving is also being aware of the road markings. The lane you were in will have had a right turn only arrow and/or a sign letting you know it is a right turn lane.
You failed because you weren't paying attention. If you were you would have realised that you were in a right turn lane and you could have told the examiner that you were in the wrong lane to go straight on.
Yes its my fault but nevermind. I hope next time I don't make a silly mistake like that. Even instructor said I have never made a mistake like that on any of my lessons before Thats what makes it worse.
Hafi don't lie you were scoping out the chicks during your test weren't you?
At the time he was out on his driving test, the only chicks he would see would have been truant schoolgirls
Mr Chelsea I was more concentrating on not speeding I got 2 minors for appropriate speed. I got this habit of going slightly faster then speed limit but this time I cut that down I believe.
Unlucky hafi mate. It happens.
Just another 30 lessons till your next test now innit.
Nope 1 more lesson to next test hopefully. Even driving examiner after saying why I failed said you are test ready to pass He probably was suprised how well I drove except one mistake.
Never mind, the best drivers never pass first time.
Boris to be fair the best drivers pass with 0 minors I thought I failed 2 minutes in so started panicking The reality was I failed probably about 30 minutes in.
I want a test between 24th October and 1st of November To be honest I am a great driver, when going to test centre I drove like a virtuoso
Shame I didn't do it in test.
