Lazy comment. Assuming you're from London are you basing this on a sample of United supporting Londoners (or even worse the United board on JA606)?

True, the fact i picked up on it about an hour before everyone else threw you didn't it?
The fact that united fans are all over this article with the whole attitude of " your spurs and were manunited so that automatically means poch would come to us because were much bigger" ..... First of all you don't have to remind us spurs fans that united are a bigger club. I think we all know united are a bigger club than spurs but the fact that you have to come on and say it just goes to prove how far you have declined not only as a team but as a club itself. Aston villa are a big club than Leicester by a decent distance. Would ranieri choose aston villa over Leicester right now? No!!! It might be a different situation with villa in a relegation battle but the point stays the same. Spurs in a much better position than united right now as a club and as a team. Not only is pochettino having a huge role in developing our hugely talented youth academy but he has built his own side up with sheer hard work. This is completely different to when he was at Southampton. Why the hell would he want to leave spurs for the poisoned chalice that is united? Maybe pochettino might go onto a huge club like Madrid etc in a few years. But he ain't going anywhere near united so dream on mancs!!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
How many times has Spurs finished in the top 4 then or ahead of Utd?
Utd is a big club globally and always will be. Your club is not even a big club in North London
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Now you're just being silly.
It's not about the 'before' is it. It's about the 'now', and who is better placed to finish in the top 4 now?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You brought up 2012, not me.
You are in a great position, however we have seen this before and you failed. You still have to play Us, Arsenal, City and Chelsea.
Stop counting your chickens.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's because you appear to be living in that year, when United were PL favourites and Spurs were not. Back then I'd be more afraid of a Poch leaving Spurs for United. The tide has turned for both clubs since. You aren't the same infallible club you used to be, and less appealing for players and managers it seems.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you do realise in the last 18 months weve signed players like ADM, Schweinstieger, schneiderlin ( who turned down spurs for Utd) re-signed De Gea to a long term contract.
dont kid yourself, we will still be able to sign bigger players than spurs ( and thats not chequebook waving) thats just a fact.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you'll still attract bigger players than us for the time being. I guess it depends on how long you'll be in your current state for. The more often you finish out of the top 4 and become like Liverpool, the less appealing you will become for players and managers.

You may not fall quite as hard as Liverpool, but you may lose some of the pull that you once had, understandably, by no longer being the dominant force you were under Fergie. We've already seen a few cases of it.
Contrastingly this could be a short lived high for Spurs. The point is for the moment, I can't see any reason why Poch would want to jump ship, in the short term.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, that is clearly my only comment on this thread.
Idiot
Two schools of thought here
1) Made up by the media because they need to put something on their website for clicks.
2) PR machine at ManU using their media lackeys to establish interest from Poch’s people.
As for some earlier comments, Man United can just come in and nick him but as he is contracted until 30.06.2019 they A) United or B) Poch would have to pay off the outstanding contract. Levy would deffo hold them to it. Spurs paid off Southampton giving him freedom to move.
After Moyes ‘failing’ and LVG with two years under his belt come July and apparently ‘failing’ maybe Poch would go as neither would be a hard act to follow.
Can’t help but think he would be extremely careful about his choices though. Moyes (win rate 53%) sacked after 8 months, career now in tatters and LVG (the self-professed best manager in the world, win rate of 50%) hanging on by the slimmest of threads reduced to a post-match mumbling buffoon and ridiculed and booed by his own fans through absolutely no fault of his own…
Leave it with balloon bonce for one more season (after all SAF failed miserably for the first 3 years until a fortunate FA cup win) and you never know.
wow not been on this board in a minute and a pochettino article with over 300 comments.
I have been saying for ages he will be the best manager we could sign even more so than pep or jose.
Spurs fans will be rightful to say he will not walk out on spurs cos utd come calling. He is currently overseeing what looks like it could be a very successful project. Only thing utd have going at the moment is reputation.

i think Poch is exactly the type of manager that would succeed at Utd.
he plays good football and is a decent young manager.
i dont agree with a lot of what Mudds put, however i do agree with him though that if Utd come calling, Poch would at least have to give it some considerable thought, because he could be the one to actually get utd back on track, and that could be the thing that persuades him.

Get a pay rise out of it then tell Utd thanks but no thanks basically.
Once we sign Robben and Neymar, Gundogan, Alli, Kane, Stones, Barkley, Dybala, the white Martial and the Ayew twins, Poch won't be able to resist.
The force is strong in Darth Woodward

This still going on? Not really sure why the Spurs fans are so wound up.
If Utd came calling, Pochettino would leave. He would only stay if he lacked ambition

Oh shut up MUDD, you're embarrassing.

It is a fact. That's just the way it is.

Ahem.

Yes, that is clearly my only comment on this thread.

Only thing utd have going at the moment is reputation.

i dont know spurtle.
financially we are in a far better position than liverpool ever were, and at some point the spending will come good.
we had an awful month in december with some awful perofrmances, had that not happened we could easily be sat at the top of the league.
that month really fecked us up and we lost to teams we really should be beating, and under another manager probably would have beaten.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You may not fall quite as hard as Liverpool, but you may lose some of the pull that you once had, understandably, by no longer being the dominant force you were under Fergie. We've already seen a few cases of it.
Contrastingly this could be a short lived high for Spurs. The point is for the moment, I can't see any reason why Poch would want to jump ship, in the short term.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i dont think it would be short term though.
i think Poch is exactly the type of manager that would succeed at Utd.
he plays good football and is a decent young manager.
i dont agree with a lot of what Mudds put, however i do agree with him though that if Utd come calling, Poch would at least have to give it some considerable thought, because he could be the one to actually get utd back on track, and that could be the thing that persuades him.
