Trouble is that comes with the rumour of FAH knocking back an offer for double what they paid
I think it is fake. It just seems too much of an ideal scenario to be true. I mean a consortium of buisness owners from Nottingham headed by arguably the greatest Player legend.
I mean Pearce I think has to be the only manager who is even more popular now even after his managerial run.

Like most posters I'm not worried about relegation this season. But I am revising my prediction from finishing in the middle eight to bottom eight. We will probably drop a couple of places if we fail to win either of our next two games (which is likely). After that we have Brentford at home in front of a sparse and dispirited crowd that now becomes a big game - may be even a 'must win'.
I wish Paul Williams success of course but fear the run in could be worse than the one we suffered under Gary Brazil. Both may be good coaches, but lack managerial experience or ambition and backing from within the club.
I'm assuming Lennie Lawrence has also left
Does anyone actually click on links from that be11 end?
I was thinking the same Ray.
I'm not sure whether Macheda is in limbo or whether the deal was already agreed. Wouldn't be unlike Fawaz to try and mess Cardiff about over it, surely?! To be honest, unless Williams could potentially pull a rabbit out of the hat today, Forest need Macheda to play at Hull.
Anyway.....
I wouldn't totally write off getting drawn into a relegation battle, we're 9 points and a few places above the bottom three but are due to playing a resurgent Rotherham in a few weeks. Before that we have Hull followed by the sheep so could easily be a lot closer to the drop zone after those games.
You'd think we will scrape enough points and let's hope we do. Christ knows who the next manager will be and early indications seem to be he'll be looking abroad.
As much as form hasn't been great again the timing is a little odd, especially as FAH has put someone in charge with pretty much no managerial experience until the end of the season. He has suggested attendances, style of football and fan unrest has lead to it but I don't really buy that. Shortly before the sacking there was a report of a bust up, and for me that sounds a lot more likely with Fawaz trying to deflect blame.
Now the dust has started to settle, I am quietly confident Williams may be able to guide Forest through these stormy waters. Well respected coach at a number of clubs and what more motivation will he need to make a name for himself than an El Cloughico for his second game?.
We'll have to see what happens with Macheda but word was that he had signed and was waiting on clearance. Consider Oliveria is seemingly out for the season we're very short of options so really need to sort that out, especially after the Ebicilo debacle on transfer deadline day.
To add to the joy; today is the booking for another winding up order. Great isn't it?
Only Leeds are keeping Forest off the top of the table for the most disfunctional club in the league!

Stan for DoF! That would be great fun!
Keane would be playing with fire IMO. He would certainly get a reaction from the squad. Just what that might be would be hard to say!
Stoned is a left field suggestion. Carver's assistant at Newcastle recently and has coaching experience there. Have we trodden the ex-player route once too often, though? He talks a good game when co-commentating on R5 Live to be fair but would he be willing to risk a hard won reputation at the CG as he was a mainstay of Frank Clark's trailblazers of the mid-90's?
Clemence hits he nail....
Seven managers in four years @Official_NFFC is all you need to say about the running of this top club

As does Fletch...
Forest are a great club with loyal fans being run by a guy with no idea. Recipe for disaster - why are we surprised. It's a shambles
— Darren Fletcher (@DFletcherSport) March 13, 2016
Keane would be banging heads with FAH you could be sure of that, and I couldn't see him taking that so it would be pretty short lived. In order to get the right structure in terms of both management and also behind the scenes, we need a change of owner, or much more unlikely a change of approach from the current one.
We apparently haven't even got a club secretary, pretty much every professional club would have one as would a lot of amateur ones, absolute joke
Clemence is still bitter cos Shilton was better than him
He's sticking up for his son-in-law
I think I bumped into that Paul Williams in the Clifton KFC after the Bristol City game. Reunited him with his big bag of Popcorn Chicken. Thought he looked familiar!
I wouldn't say it's all you need to say......
Late payments, winding up orders, no CEO, no club secretary, embargo etc etc etc etc etc
Where's Strett gone?
Remember when he was praising the last transfer window by saying that bringing in ogrady for Antonio was good business? He wouldn't have it that ogrady is utter Shiite which surely by now has been proven beyond doubt?
Give it a rest Blackstarr.
Thank you for all the support and best wishes I've received for Dougie,it's greatly appreciated.
