I don't think Germany took the friendly too seriously tbh.
...............
I think the fact that they only made four subs, one of them forced, instead of the usual eight to ten that you often see in these friendlies suggests they took it pretty seriously.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that's a leap.

Debtes have to go off track every now and then. You can only take "Should Rashford go to the Euro's" so far.
And to be fair the subject is still England and the Euros.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What are your views VC? Rashford to Euros?
---------------
Pretty sure that he has already said that he shouldn't go under any conditions.
we play 4 attackers, a cf, 2 wide men and #10/8
1st/2nd choice
--------------------------kane/vardy--------------------------
welbeck/dele------rooney/barkley-------walcott/milner
sturridge will also go if fit making 9 in total. So no room for rashford imo if everyone is fit

I have already given them earlier in the thread.
You know I was not aware there was a correlation between number of subs and how seriously the players take a game. Hmm, I'll have to write that down so I remember.
Germany took it seriously, but they were experimenting with a different style of play and formation. It was still a great performance by England though, defensive worries aside.

Nowhere near as much of a leap in saying that Germany were not taking the game seriously without any evidence what so ever.
Ok based on form since Jan who should be going to the Euro's?
=============================
Kane's the only one who is a definate for me at this stage.
We dont have great options up front.
I still think we have better players than vardy.
shame sturridge cant say fit.

Thats a usual amount they make in a freidnly.
the fact they conceded 3 goals in a half and played lacklustre shows that they wernt taking it seriously.
That wont happen this summer I would bet.

Under no circumstance what so ever should Rashford be going to the Euros.
Well, maybe as a fan to watch the games. It did no favours to Walcott what so ever when Arsene conned Sven into taking him well before he was good enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Walcott is tiny and all pace.
Rashford has a bit more to his game. He's doing things now that Walcott can't do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that's a leap.

Whether they were taking the game seriously or not doesn't matter. It's a friendly, winning or losing means nothing. Playing in a massive tournament, winning and losing mean everything. You can't manufacture that pressure, will to win, etc.
Well, they lost. That's pretty good evidence they weren't taking it seriously.
.........
Oh, I see, you were being stupid and we were not meant to engage with you using any kind of rationalization what so ever.
Which previously banned Chelsea user were you?
I still dont know what vc was getting at saying going to the world cup didnt help walcott? as if thats actually had any effect whatsoever.

So you think a serious Germany would concede three goals in half an hour, 3 goals scored by brilliant world class players like Eric Dier and James Vardee, and lose to England?
"I still think we have better players than vardy".

Go and do some research into why Sven took him then.

A serious Germany once conceded five to us. Not sure you have a point here. But feel free to show us all how more daft you can be.
These particular friendly internationals do hold more significance because players are either trying to make the starting 11 or even just make the squad come June.
Go and do some research into why Sven took him then.
============================================
Then nothing. He didnt get injured. Hes not a very good player. he is the definition of average and has been average his whole career. hes a pace merchant.
going to that world cup had no effect on him one way or the other, neither positive or negative.
