Thing is LvG has been mediocre this season. What I find irritating is that some for some reason would rather stab themselves in the eye than admit he has got some things right.

Nothing wrong with that. Hell, I even praised Moyes for stuff

Not a single person in the history of this site hasn't given LVg a tiny bit of credit this season. Especially with some of the young players.

I said that I thought he'd said as recently as Jan that we would still put in a title challenge under LVG

Would being a key word, I generally don't make definite statements unless I am pretty confident (not that that doesn't stop me making lots of wrong ones but I am generally careful)

There's a good possibility I would have said I think we will or think we could but never straight out we will (at least I think, got to be careful with these definite statements )

Let's just move on and celebrate a likely 4-0 win against Villa tomorrow (my prediction)

Villa to win by two then.

I think we'll score three maximum tomorrow. If I had to make a prediction it would be 2-0.

I feel we might even score in the first half tomorrow for a nice change.

We'll win comfortably tomorrow, this Villa side are one of the worst the PL has ever seen.

I remember us drawing 0-0 with a Sunderland side which amassed one less point over the whole season than Villa have now. That game was more or less to the day and we had a better side back then.

Id even be confident winning this with a Young/Powell strike partnership.
