I don't pretend to know the entire population of this country, but going by social media and people on the streets of London it seriously makes me wonder how the hell the Tories walked the elections last year. You're so much more likely to meet a Cameron hater on the street now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
London is pretty much solid Labour though, isn't it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since when? I always thought London and the toffs followed Tories. I can't keep up.
Cockneys
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since forever. In fact I just checked, Labour increased their seats in the capital last year, up 7 to 45 - over the tories 27.
You need to readjust your prejudice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surrounding areas are Tories like Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, Kent etc
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Berkshire is actually more multicultural, places like Slough houses a lot of new immigrants from Poland and Romania as well as well as Indians and Pakistanis, all more like;y to vote Labour.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Slough is very similar to Southall, it's a very large Asian population.

To quote the post earlier (Better call martial):
"Both sides have been irritating, which is why it's one huge mess of a referendum. No one seems to be truthful and it's pisssing us all off."
It's fast becoming 'back whoever you hate less' ratehr than a vote based on informed decision.
I wish that an independent body would present the facts, 'this is what would happen to X Y and Z if we stay in / leave', and then just let the public make their mind up.
Telling the public what to do is never a good idea because you only listen if you like the person giving the instructions.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's actually genuinely disgusting for me, probably the most important vote in my lifetime and their just treating like another fecking public schoolboy spat-fest. s.
The TV and papers are just as bad. The occasional decent bit of info does leak out, but generally the papers (therefore the public as a whole) are sticking with the nonsense.
IMO the immigration issue has only now come to the fore as the financial argument has been lost. In that the overwhelming (and more importantly independent) view is that we will be better of remaining.
Neither Labour nor the Tory’s have laid out any plans in their manifestoes to amend the immigration Act (2014). There are also no strategies to do so in the future.
It’s therefore reasonable to conclude as there will be no change in legislation, immigration will be unaffected should there be a Brexit.
I can’t see Ukip in government anytime soon.
Essentially, the whole referendum has only come about due to the success and propaganda of UKIP at the last election, which is built on a foundation of racism and fear of terrorism. That is a fact.
Maybe it has evolved from there, but that's how all this started. And due to the success of UKIP, the Conservatives were forced to promise a referendum in order to not lose votes.
What are the Scots saying? You never hear about them, are they mostly in or out?

And people love a bandwagon...
I think the BBC have been decent in terms of covering the whole campaign, they get accused of being Tory lovers but I think they've showed both sides of the story in a clearer light.

Did anybody watch the BBC debate last week? The Brexit camp really didn't do themselves any favours. The undecideds mostly all decided in at the end.

I'm voting IN but I must admit the scare mongering from Cameron and the IN brigade is really starting to pi55 me off...so much so I'm tempted to vote out.

Exactly!!

Have you not seen the scaremongering from the OUT brigade then?

Also agree.

I think the BBC have been decent in terms of covering the whole campaign, they get accused of being Tory lovers but I think they've showed both sides of the story in a clearer light.
