Of course a stupid man will say he doesn't.

UK GDP is 2,678,000,000,000. Youd rather an extra 10,000,000,000. For that we have 8 million non UK residents in the UK. Thats over 10% of the population.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration/11822912/Number-of-foreigners-living-in-Britain-will-top-eight-million-for-the-first-time-says-report.html
And you call me an idiot.
Sorry, forgot to say GDP is in $, not £

Can't believe this is still going!?
Is there anybody other than the small minority of far right Leave voters who are actually against immigration? Do people really believe that a majority of people who voted Leave want the door completely shut? I really hate this assumption.
Arguing the pros and cons of immigration is completely irrelevant. It's arguing the pro's and cons of Freedom of Movement, which needs to be addressed- Freedom of movement does not define immigration.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You think its an assumption that overwhelming support for leave was immigration?
Mate I appreciate there were people, maybe like your self, who made the decision to vote leave based on informed and well reasoned arguments/points
BUT I can hand in heart say your average thick as feck person from Sunderland and Stoke thought if he/ she voted out it would be bye bye foreigners.
I mention those places specifically as they benefitted from EU monies, regeneration wise and other
Yes you are an idiot. 12 years ago there were over 5 million "foreign born" people living in the UK.
Most from outside the EU.
If you can't discern that from the article you are an idiot.
There needs to be 260,000 migrants a year to support the aging population and the welfare bill...
Brings it in line with what we have.
Im not anti immigration, but your arguements are ridiculous. How on earth can immigration which means there is less money per population as the cost increases by more than they generate possibly make economical sense? Idiot.

----------
That is idiotic reasoning from you, studies show that immigration brings a net benefit to the UK.
People smarter than you have concluded that
You should accept it.
23% of brexiteers interviewed believe foreigners should be repatriated and Brits made to move back from abroad forcibly. ICM poll
All brexiteers are certainly not racist or xenophobic, but all racists and xenophobes voted brexit

Tend not to bother with polls on Brexit. The one's on referendum day got it horribly wrong (yet people still look at them ). Only reaches a snipet of society and since the vote was anonymous, I'm sure there'll be a load of far left loonies hijacking any Leave opinions.

I never said that immigration doesnt benefit this country, just that the figures and arguements as you presented them are incredibly stupid and dont add up to show a benefit. You need to learn to explain things so they make sense rather than spout this shiiit and think it makes you sound uintelligent.
You obviously have a huge chip on your shoulder. One thing I will say is that if you dont like how this country voted in a democratic refurendum, you know what you can do. Leave.

showing your true colours there then.
Just because I oppose something, doesn't mean I have to stop opposing it.
That is what democracy is about you uncouth ape.
A country will fail if the population increases and public services decrease.
This will happen if you fail to tax the wealthiest in society (whose UK money is also less likely to get back into the economy) and force the rest of the population to make up the shortfall.
A country simply needs money to go round and round.
A high minimum wage is far more beneficial to an economy than corporate tax breaks as the working class tend to pump most of their money straight back in to the economy - creating growth, contributing VAT as well as NI & tax..
Corporate tax breaks and legal tax avoidance take money out of the economy.
The money that doesn't simply leave these shores forever is often spent when the wealthy buy up land and housing. This in turn syphons more money out of the country in rent (which tax is then avoided on) and this also means those paying high rent have less disposable income to put back into the pot.
Immigration is a distraction and sadly it works, while the country is bled dry and the average person is left to pick up the bill.

I'm responding in a mature manner and I would appreciate it if you did the same. You can dumb it down to the stereotypical 'coming here and taking our jobs' mantra if you like. That doesn't stop it being a reality for some.
My brother is repeatedly being undercut in his building company, by you guessed it, Poles. He is not angry about it, he understands that people are just trying to make a living. However, British living standards to live here are higher than SOME immigrants. This means they will accept a lesser amount because it is still better than home.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doubt you will et a reasoned and mature response from them.
There were a minority of right wing racists amongst those that voted to leave. We also have left wng extremists in this country who are no less extreme. I got to know some very well when I was a union rep and their unreasonable actions pushed me more to teh right, now being right of centre in my political views. Things like openly making up lies about anyone who opposed tier left wing views and when I challenged it they just said if we throw enough mud some will stick, deliberately not going on strike when there was a Labour government even though they felt it was justified but advanced planning strikes for when the conservatives would next be in power whether justified or not. Basically they completely undermined what they were supposed to stand for, truth and justice to further their own political ideals.

Ok here's the thing. Leaving the EU is unlikely to make a change to your brothers situation.
In fact, it could make things a little worse, just hear me out.
In this past week there have been 2 large real estate funds that have had to stop trading. Aviva was one of those, people were pulling their money out faster than the funds could generate it by selling property.
So they had to stop trading.
As people are pulling out of investments in real estate there won't be the capital to put forward onto new builds, whether this is office blocks, or residential housing.
Yes, this means your brother will have increased competition, fewer projects and more available contractors.
It's his choice what he has to do next, if the quality of his work isn't worth the premium people are willing to pay for it, he has to differentiate himself further or try a different direction.
Sure it's easy for me to say, but I cannot subscribe to the view that everything will be alright with a Brexit, that would be deluded. Sure you get your protest vote, but nothing changes - not for the better anyway as these funds activities have shown this week.
