There's going to be shortage of labour very soon. Who going to fill those jobs that European migrants happily carry out? How are we going to punish Putin when he flies his jets into our territory?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed.
----------------------
So, who do you think fly our RAF planes now?
We also have two powerful USAF squadrons based here in the UK
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah yes an independent UK that's partially reliant on the US to protect itself.
With Junker's comments yesterday it would shock me if it wasn't aggressive
Look forward to Holland leaving
There won't be a future for Cameron or that doppy tool Corbyn.
Greaves is spot on as usual

Merkal is at fault for all this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you'll find those who voted to leave, and nobody else, are responsible for what is to come.
Well we've really messed up now, at least the leave backers will take a battering when the consequences start to kick in....
And your comment about Britain's true racist colours is an insult to millions of those who voted out
---------------
And this lack of empathy by so called politicians for the british public fear rightly/wrongly over immigration is what drove many to vote leave.

Looking at the demographics, it's the pensioners who have taken us out, as predicted.
Hope they're going to muck in to help get the economy back on track...

I was kinda hoping we could just dilly dally on the matter for a decade or two whilst they quietly move on...
Probably unrealistic really.

The old people that lived through pre-EU and EU Britain you mean?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The old people who will probably lose the least from this, the old people who have a lot less worries for the future that will be worse for everyone else now...
Those old people.

This weekend is going to be crazy, especially with all the football going on.
FTSE now predicted to lose 8% of value when trading opens.
Japanese Finance Minister discussing intervening in currency markets after massive gains for Yen and 7% drop for Nikkei.

As the old saying goes "Party today suffer tomorrow".
This will be the worst, and longest, hangover ever though.
Ah yes an independent UK that's partially reliant on the US to protect itself.
------------------------------------------------
The USA saved us in the WW2, and Europe too.
They also have bases in Germany, Italy & Turkey, without which it is likely that the old USSR would have expanded further.
Being independent is about making your own decisions, US military planes in both UK & indeed Europe is strategically vital within NATO, which the whole of Europe relies on as a defence shield & NATO is the reason why there has been no war in Western Europe for 70 years.

Na they're all alright. They've got their pensions & houses paid for thanks to benefitting from being able to buy cheap property in their day.
They can sit back and watch it all go to shiite
