That may be the case but the lad was lying on the ground with his arms spread. Doesn't appear to be immediate danger to life.

I'd be too busy planning what I'd do with the settlement money to feel too bad.

It's just silly. Shame the video didn't show the shooting, seems as though the therapist what shot for no reason at all.

Anyone that thinks it is not a race problem is deluded.

There is more than enough evidence to show this, even the Met has a history of institutionalised racism

I grew up in the US, it is a very serious problem. Even panorama did a programme about it

Feels like USA is at tipping point... All these shootings, then cop shootings... Then whichever way the election vote goes, riots are sure to begin. Scary times.

One good thing is that everyone with their mobile phones are now starting to show these dodgy cops up... It is CCTV that can't be destroyed in the evidence room. Especially with live streaming.

No but it's still an issue with the police. We already know that black people (in the US) are targetted unfairly by the police. This, first and foremost, appears to be another example of that mistreatment.

There's a programme about people who follow the NYPD round filming them, quite interesting. Their allowed to film them but keep getting arrested by the police.

Is it not technically racist as a black officer has authority and hates blacks?

They say black people in day UK cannot be racist as they don't have the authority/power

Not trying tonpoint fingers etc here just genuinely curious

I appreciate there is an issue... but not every incident will be race related (theres plenty of whites shot by police too)

Every incident should be investigated and judged individually... you're not talking about one police force here... every city/county/state has their own, and within that theres branches... sheriffs dept etc etc.

its not just as simple as saying the police are racist
